Playing the harp like our hands were on fire until a string broke and we put it aside. Knowing it was there but never took the time to repair it. We never got to play the last nodes of our love song.

Never put your feelings aside.

She's waiting alone at the bar
She's lost in her own thoughts
If you don't see her NOW
She'll be taken like your last breath
And you'll be as good as dead

And of course it comes on
That was your song

She's dancing like you're not there
She's lost in the eyes of a stranger
If you don't grab her NOW
She'll be gone just like the wind
And you'll never dance again

And of course it comes on
That was your song

She's given you her last call
And if you're listening at all
You will see her NOW
She's leaving with or without you
You'll be history or a memory soon

And of course it comes on
'Cause it's the last song
You want to hear
This is a "frankensong". It started out as several separate lyrics that were so obviously about the same thing. So I put them together...And this came out.

You're name pops up
on my phone
***?!
Leave me alone
but...
I'd be a liar like you
if I said that
My heart didn't inquire
every now and then
where you've been

Don't get it twisted
Reading into
What I just said
It's not like I miss you
I miss being distracted
from the outside world
thinking it was just
the two of us

Let's not speak about
what we just did
Sometimes I think
You do things to me
Just to see
If you still can
To see if you're flame
Still burns me
Don't you dare come back.

And indeed there will be time
For the yellow smoke that slides along the street,
Rubbing its back upon the window panes;         25
There will be time, there will be time
To prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet;
There will be time to ****** and create,
And time for all the works and days of hands
That lift and drop a question on your plate;         30
Time for you and time for me,
And time yet for a hundred indecisions,
And for a hundred visions and revisions,
Before the taking of a toast and tea.

In the room the women come and go         35
Talking of Michelangelo.
One of my favorite poems. I just wanted to post it somewhere, and hope maybe someone will read it the same way that I do.

Holding hands, yet feeling alone,
Your presence was meant to be my home.

I can still feel you-
the you you used to be,
The us that was,
               the you and me.

Holding hands, yet feeling alone.
Where did the excitement go?
The magic we would feel-
                 with every touch,
The joy,
              the nerves,
                                 the rush-

Holding on to every word-
                 anticipating the next.
Remembering each and every moment,
Waiting anxiously to create the rest.

Now we rest on each other,
sometimes without a word to say.
What happened to the moments-
when we hadn't enough hours in a day.

At least when we admit-
that what we had is now lost.
I will have gained a million memories to put to a song.

And every time 'our song' plays,
                           I'll surely think of you.
Dreams shared, Years lost-
*and all I'm left with is a tune.

The sky here looks so nice
Sit with me,
Under the moonlight.
And hear the sound of the silence,
That forms a melody with the leaves of the tree rustling with each other
Feel the wind against your cheeks.
See me blush as it touches mine.
Close your eyes , darling
And lose yourself to this melody.
Let your head feel light,
Let your soul fly.
Breathe slowly.
Just, don't try.
Let your feet be naked, Like mine.
Let your heart be naked, like mine.
Let my touch quench your thirst,
Breathe through me.
Don't look at me though!
Just close your eyes
Do you see any colors?
Are they all dark?
That's my naked heart you're looking at
Don't open your eyes!
Keep looking
You're making me blush red
A color my heart doesn't know of.
Feel not the wall behind you
feel my warmth instead
Does that give you chills?
Let my tresses fly ,
soft against your face.
Don't let them distract you,
Keep looking at our naked hearts meet.
Yours and mine.
