The salt envies my lips,
jealous of your tongue
when it wants more
longing for yours
craving slow soft moist caress

It melts in the sharedness,
sparkles in our breath,
a crystalline melt of desire
stretching the flavor in timelessness
fusing in sweet a figure of eight
of our tongues’ thirst

It speaks our secret language
teaching new grammar;
it weaves our thoughts in scarves
spilling cool ambrosia,
warm in our veins
... I didn't know there were ways to make the taste of salt last longer and softer... |)

In the dictionary, poetry is a                          work in which special
                                                  l i t e r a r y
intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm; poems collectively or as a genre of literature.

Bland and boring that's what that definition is.
It has not any feelings
It has not any life
It's boring and bland like the words of a textbook.
That's what the definition is.
It's b

To me, poetry is MORE!
It's when I write my heart a       w       a       y.
It's when I write about things I like or care about.

For me, poetry is a way to vent
be fuming and mad
but still be calm and cool
writing about an event that happened today possibly at school.
To writing about what/who I think should go                                away.
To write about the people I care about.

The poems I read all have affected ME in some way.
Making me currently happy, sad or anything like that.
Sometimes the words in a poem have so much meaning.
It's hard to disagree with the poet when you hear them basically SCREAMING at you with their strong opinions.
That's what makes a poem great and c l a s s y.

It's not the words in a poem that make it lasting
It's the effect it has on your

Something I threw together in 10 minutes.
It was based off of the last 2 lines.

I still feel your presence
It lingers all over me,
The warmth of your body
Is now a part of me.

I can’t think of anything more sweet
Than the moments when our lips would meet,
I remember that night…
You held me as your own while standing in the rain
You pressed your lips to mine and took away the pain.

Your heat spread to me and warmed me in the cold
At that moment, I surrendered and was yours to hold.
Deep in my heart, I always knew
But never wanted to admit,
that I was in love with you.

I felt we drifted away together in a storm,
But now we’re torn.
Even though you’re gone
Your heat lives on.

I reminisce to that night
When I get too lonely,
And wish every time
To live in that moment only.

The heat we had will always remain
In my heart, you left that stain,
It’ll never be removed
And It’ll never fade in the rain.
Now I stand alone,
hoping you’d come join me again.
This is a poem that was inspired tonight.

"So tell me, what did you wish for?"

"For my life to go on without you"

"Fine" she said "I'll head for the door"

"But if I've told you, then it can't come true"
suddenly the world is beautiful
suddenly the world looks wonderful
suddenly the world sings with delight
suddenly the world has skies so bright

it's all because we've*
found love my dear
and our shared love
shall always endear

in divine devotion
our hearts shall stay
with an accord so
glowing of day

suddenly the world has a closeness
suddenly the world shows such happiness
suddenly the world dances in perfect time
suddenly the world gifts a lasting chime

forever our love
shall be so lush
in each and every
season of lovely blush

darling our love
was meant to be
a combination
of such blissful lee

suddenly the world speaks of harmony
suddenly the world is a symphony
suddenly the world feels so ideal
*suddenly the world has a starry appeal

If we were graphiti
Youd still lie
On top of me

Tracing the after effects
Your breath marked across
My lips

Lit up
Like ecstasy lovers
Your mind incased
Something I'd soon
Discover

*******
Heroine
Never had a taste
As tempting
As your marijuana laced
Face

And the altitude
Words from you
Put me higher
And I won't
Stop penetrating
Your thoughts
Till I've had
My desire

You will
Be there
Covered in dripping gold

And I will stand under you
Chin up
Lips wide apart
Tasting you
FOREVER

Lovely
Don't you think?

At night
My heart
Sang to you

That even
The moon
Slipped down
A silioquint tear

Holding on to
What ifs

Drawing on
Heart pounding

Maybe now
You'll feel
Me drowning

You see much more than a human,
You see their soul,
Your heart intertwined for them,

He protected me from the world,
Apart from it all,
I prayed for him,
I prayed for his success,
I prayed for his safety,
And above it all I prayed for his happiness even if he wasn't written for me,

Written for me? Yes written for me,
I mean the one we are destined to be with,
I mean the one who is my soul mate,
I mean the one that with be my forever and always,

But he,
Might not be my future,
He may not be the one for me,
He may not hold the key,

But if he is-
Protect him for me,
Because he is enchanted love,
He makes my heart sing,
The light he brings,
Into a room,
It's everlasting.... it's everlasting
