Mysterious Mind Nov 2016
There once was a rose, so gallant and proud. With its rosey red color, it brought a new light to the world. Slowly but surely, the rose began to fade. It reached out to the world, offering nothing but shame. Crying for the dreams it once vividly shared, the hopes that fell in red little drops that caused all to stare. What had the rose done, to deserve such a punishment?
An old note of mine that I recently found on my phone. I can go through the daily motions and feel glorious, but it's always the silent veil of the night that gets me. That allow these thoughts and feelings to surface.

Deepest blue
Those eyes on you.
They blaze and burn
Making my stomach turn.
I'm lost in the moment
so lost in this moment
I can't believe that I'm so lost in this moment.

Your eyes are on me, so very kind
they gaze into the secrets I hoped no one would find.
They pierce my skin and search within
they find what's wrong and they reveal my sin.
They see me for who I am and not for what I've done
They bring the darkest parts of me into the sun.

Not a whisper of judgment
No murmur of condemnation
Your eyes are love, pure, wild, blue as the sky.
They look at my shame filled heart
and they say to me"For this I will die".

I get lost in your eyes,
in your beautiful clear eyes.
They smile at me and I know I am not alone
In your eyes I am accepted, valued, worthy, priceless, loveable, pure.
Jesus, in your eyes my purpose is revealed
In your eyes my heart can finally be healed.

Your eyes, like nothing I've ever seen before,
So genuine, so full of honesty, an open door.
When I look into them I instantly know that I can trust them.
Those eyes of yours Jesus, that see the beauty in the broken
That see the best in everyone, that never judges or condemns.

In your eyes there is a love vast as the ocean
An empathy that knows my circumstance and understands my journey.

Your eyes ablaze, will satisfy my soul
for all my days.
Your eyes like a burning flame
Leaves me changed and never the same.

I'm found in your eyes
That see me for my potential
I'm found in you amazing eyes
That will never stop hoping or believing the very best for me.

Would it be alright
For you to be by my side
For you to be my bride
To be with you, till the end of time

Would it be alright
To yearn for your touch
To seek you when I'm lost
To replace what I've lost

Would it be alright
To brush the tears off your cheek
To become your light when in need
To carry you and sweep you off your feet

Would it be alright
To finally hold you in my arms
To be able to keep you out of harms
And be your shelter in the storms

Would I be alright
If this were all true
But then I wake up
And realize, it was just a ruse

I don't know if I should start with how we fell apart
or how we fell in love,
but whichever way it goes,
we know we fell out of love.

I'm not sure if I should start saying "Sorry"
or defend my past mistakes
but whatever happened in the past
we broke up anyway.

I know I was at fault,
I know you were too,
We say we were both just young
Still, I lost you.

I wish rules did not exist in love
but even when we say there are no rules, there are.
because if there were none,
I would have you in my arms right now

But it ***** how we always say "We're humans"
with emotions,
with feelings,
with a story,
and even when we know we still love,
we choose not to.
we pretend not to.
because the rule book says we can't

So we show up at parties
with our new "love"
and feel remorse for ourselves
as soon as we hit the bed at night
because she should have been me
and he should have been you
It should have been us.

but we choose not to.
we pretend not to.

despite how we feel

because our pride is bigger than our love.
I guess sometimes it's safe to say...

We might have never been in love
at all.
How many people today know who they love and why they love but choose not to love, just because?

in each brewed drink,
your eyes are synced

in every page i scribble,
your words, i remember

as per song i hear,
your voice won't disappear

now tell me boy,
how will i forget

when everywhere i go,
i see you and
your silhouette.

At least for once
I felt your warmth
At least for once
We became one
At least...
At least...
For once,
I passed across through this
Pseudo bliss
Called temporary happiness.

We all have our own shares of failed expectations. Here's a brighter view above all flaws.

Just have a little bit,
To get you through the night.
Just have a little bit,
To be able to see the light.

Your heart is weary,
And your head hurts,
But know in your soul,
That this isn't the worst.

Listen to the advice,
Try your best,
And know that,
Soon the universe will answer those prayers.

We ran out of time! I screamed as the smoke rushed from under the door.
This is just a metaphor.
We ran out of time. As if running in place to get back the life we once had that was safe.
I study clocks, watches, and smiles like archeology.
We are all hour glasses tipped over waiting for the sand to run out. Yet most will stay in that room as the smoke begins to choke them more and more.
This is just a metaphor.
You are running out of time! Most of us never turn around to jump out the window and save ourselves.
You are going to die one day!! I screamed as the flames engulfed the door.
This, is just a metaphor.

Saturday night, lighting up the dark
On my own cloaks
wishing you to hope
Giving me a small body gold

Guilt from my silhouette
Best of its heart
Tryin' to know the glimpse in your part

Should I write my name?
As a commoner of your own shadow
To fight for my own serendipity
Or should I listen to require my voice production
