Watch the stream...
Just watch.
Look over the lake...
Just look.
Examine the river...
Just examine.
Analyze the ocean...
Just analyze.
What did you see?
Water endlessly flowing,
The breeze gently following.
How did you feel?
I know not what is real,
But everything moves,
Eternally so.
Seeking something,
Without restraint.
The time for dreams
Is over.
Be like the wind
And follow the stream.
There is no other choice.

He that gave me Faith,
Taught me the importance of prayers,
Showed me the humblest way to live.
In place of darkness, light he gave,
From him,I learned how to swallow my anger,
To forget and forgive.
He was my angel in disguise during my darkest hours,
He scared away the demons lurking in my nightmares,
He held me close when I needed him most.
He was kind and gentle but, firm and strict,
He was a stickler for cleanliness,
Spring cleaning was a groan,
Our allotted chores had to be ***** and span,
He checked to see they were done as he wanted.
You should see his face when we failed or skipped our homework,
He sat dejected in a corner crying his heart out,
Asking again and again where he had failed,
So we always tried our best to work hard.
His only weakness was to watch T.V. and play video games,
He also loved to pull mum's legs,
For us weekends were for outings after we had finished our chores and homework.
He was my very own special dad,
A wonderful human being I was lucky to get.
One of God  blessing was to have a father like him

let me teach you
how to dance
to the song that is my heartbeat

first; lay your head upon my chest
stay silent, unmoving, hold your breathe
nothing?
no, there it is
steady, unyeilding, comforting
but as I feel you slowly exhale
it’s tempo accelerates
of course you induce that
‘butterflies in my stomach’ effect
if I was talking, I would’ve stuttered
as your fingers absentmindedly
drew patterns on my wrists
i could feel the hairs rising
my body calling out to your touch
gentle, calming, peaceful
and when I peak at you
your eyes are closed, relaxed
savouring the moment
our pulses meld together
and dance a tranquil tango.
feeling nostalgic for a love I’ve never experienced.

Nurture me,
touch me gently
and don't worry
if I'm frightened.
I've just felt this feeling
before and it's never
worked out in my favor.

Fears grow in my mind
I do need your gentle touch
So I can blossom

may I find a soul
as sweet as honey
whom I can call
the embodiment of poetry
where their kiss
taste like midnight drives
in the warmest of nights
where their touch
feels like eternal hugs
like fire and wood in love
someone who understands
how simply complex I am
as some days, I am night
and some nights, I am day
may I find a love
gentle and rough
where I'll never have to question
if I am enough
I hope I'll find it.

You
Your eyes
are a fire that lights up my skin
Your heat
is a force that ignites from within
Your hands
are so gentle, they make my head spin
Your lips
give me chills, I can't help when you grin
Your voice
has the beauty of a golden violin
Your body
invites, excites, entices sin
Your attention
is an ocean I get lost in
Your love
is a life that might have been
I second guess myself constantly. I don't know what I'm afraid of. I wish I had the courage to pursue love, instead of backing away and feeling regret.
