Running, running
far away
Escaping dreams
of yesterday.
Faster, faster
there I go
Forgetting things
you'll never know.
Dying, dying
deep inside
Find a place
for me to hide.
Catching, catching
up with me
No more running
from reality.
Stopping, stopping
let me cry
Finding a way
to say to say
Goodbye

I breathe in.
I breathe out.

The air is cold--
Or maybe that's
Just me.

My hands are icy,
But that's nothing new.

My heart is racing,
But I have yet to hear from you.

I can feel my pulse,
But I can't feel any blood.

My wrists don't ache,
But maybe they should
And I'm confused
Because isn't that
How anxiety presents itself
In the physical form?

But maybe this isn't
Anxiety.
Or maybe I don't
Have a physical form.

I breathe in.
I breathe out.

He whispers something kind under his breath.
Something that makes me stop going towards that light.

Something like
"I wouldn't want you to keep talking to me
If it makes you uncomfortable."

And I stop and I look over my shoulder
And he's looking down at his feet,
Remembering something good,
Something fun,
Something real.

I hear him again
"You're so kind and good. I'm sorry that happened to you."

And it makes me feel sick,
Because if I'm so kind and good,
Why did you leave?

And then I hear it
Over and over and over
Like the ghost of ex's past.

"Abuse abuse abuse abuse"
All my friends and loved ones
Chanting what a monster you are.
That it was all a game
All  a sham,
An act.

That it was just an act to you.

So I turn from the light.
And walk into something I'm new to.

I walk into the warmth of
Something I don't recognize.

It's called friendship.
It's called kindness.
It's called human decency.

You should look it up.

I breathe in.
I breathe out.
Making new friends is hard. I feel like a ghost sometimes. But it's okay, because friends can ground you when things get to be too much.

You are okay with disallowing the truth
Because it lends a threatening aspect to your security.
Your security,
A false sense of entitlement,
Is by no means your creation.
Your security is the safeguard
Of another man's security.
You allow your self
To be enslaved
Because you do not know how to walk alone
And the master has told you many stories
Of heroes, villains and creatures alike
Who sought this adventure;
Its dangers, toils and snares.
The good bit he left out
Because he too is enslaved by your obedient labour.
The good bit he keeps to himself,
To remind his self of the goodness he has carried out.
To save a soul
Who dared question the existence of the master,
And steer him back in line
With shovel and pick in hand.
To him
This journey must be split between the eye;
One must enjoy pleasure
And the other
Must enjoy the displeasure
Of creating pleasure for another.

Listening to the stories of lands far away,
Oftentimes finding the golden sheen,
L**ured away by a buttery light.
Indian men & sometimes women are lured away by the prospect of a better life to lands far away.

My new device Samsung Galaxy A7 (6),
I bought it off my own money guys,
And I am so pleased with myself.

It has helped distract me finally,
The breakup will be forgotten now,
Her false love vanished 7 Galaxies away.
Verdict and review: Samsung Galaxy A7 (6) - the 2016 version is the best phone at its price.
Sometimes you need to move on unwillingly.

Here's a verse to make you laugh!
You make me feel like an urban giraffe,
With a fabulously long neck,
What to do with that, by heck?
I see you far above the madding crowd,
Respect from afar is allowed,
I send you my feathered breath,
What do you do with that, by heck?
Did you know a giraffe can kiss?
For you, I pray nothing goes amiss,
A verse to you, sealed in bliss.....
I see you, far above the madding crowd,
Is respect from afar allowed?
Feedback welcome.

This is a window on the world,
Written by a once time girl,
Guidelines for chicks and men,
A new set of commandments,
Take these for what they're meant,
Be yourself, all chicks and dudes,
Let it all go, we learn in life's long school,
Act the way you want to feel,
You can pretend smiles, which are real,
Do it now, procrastinate later,
Ignore distractions, they're to bait ya!
Lighten up, think of funnies,
Do stuff, even if you don't need money,
Be polite, stay in touch, friends old and new,
Be kind, not exploited, all of you,
Less is more of things to do......
New commandments from me to you!
Feedback welcome. Thoughts are thoughts.

"While only death do us part.
I pray to the very God,
who put us together,
That you and I,
Should never part.
In this lifetime .........
Or the next."

If there's no commitment,
don't ever hope.
If there's no agreement,
expect nothing.

If both of you don't want to find the way,
don't settle.
If you are the one who is clinging and needy,
fix your mind.

Some writing on a wall
That's all
Nothing to see here so you can just move along
Paint on concrete, or maybe even laden bricks
A ghetto magnum opus sending a message to those walking along, familiar with spray paint cans clicks

Just another death here, nothing to see here keep it moving
So many young ones die in my city, despite the lambasting and berating of various communities.
Another life cut tragically short

It's just....

How many times must we hear that phrase before we shove it back down their throats?
