Lessons that’d keep coming throw me against rocks and stars
Vacuum the space of stories I cherished
the bibliography of another misunderstood wanderer

Fresh is today, yet dusty is mind’s wraparound
Begging the soul to hold on to the noose
to paint the portrait with wounds’ blood

Dissonance thrives
Yet roots are growing

Flurried, awaiting the washaway
from someone lovingly reaching out, understanding, acknowledging
giving nothing more but a smile of compassion

The dance awaits
for dissolution of sown death

No future will come for the waiting ones

I’ll sculpt all within and without that I can
I’ll keep on refusing to stop at the mask
I’ll strengthen what needs to become stronger
and tear down all which was never meant to be

In the end there’s only one direction

Reaching for you
when you're high above the sky
Searching for you
in this vast horizon
Even if it's just a 0.0000001% chance,
I won't give up on you.
"In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take." -someone

Have you ever felt
the calm before
the storm?

So, now
Do you dare
calm my demons
and wait for
what's come?

The way the smiles
Turned to tears.
The way the joy
Was crushed by insecurities and fears.

The way we went from snuggling
To bickering and namecalling.
The way the sparkle in your eye
Started to dim and eventual die.

The way you stopped saying
"I love you so much"
And the way your voice
Speaking in my head was made to hush.

The way everything
Seemed to implode.

Was it my fault?
A question I'll never get the answer to

Just when we think
Life is on our side
We lose control

Off the rails we go
Into the inky blackness
Our body takes a toll

The tunnel closes up
And we can't see light
Adrift is our soul

We grasp at the emptiness
For anything to guide us
Something to make us whole

The only things that can help
Are ourselves
Only we can achieve our goal

Our life is our train
Our friends the rails
And our passion the coal

So it is up to us
To get back on track
And let our wheels roll

Life took our control
So we push forward
To take back what it stole

Love  or hate
I am just another image
You can t see
Fade deep in your thoughts
A complex mind
A heart left me caring
As my feelings play on those strings
i wish i could be the image
That see
But  i wear  a different   mask

Spread love like an infectious disease,
To rid malice, strife and negativity with ease,
Let your light shine like the summers rays,
Embracing your fellow man creating better days,
For starters pay it forward without acknowledgement or compensation,
Spread this germ generously and watch the loving mutation.

Love Wins…..

Straight forward word ****
Blunt broken and scorn
All dopamine no thought
Thrills and pills
Forget the skills
Just saying what they want.
No chill no build
A populace guild
Only say it if its hot.

The day moves on.
The week moves on.
The month and year all move on.
Life, of course, moves on.

        But some of us
        Life moves on without.
        We're left where we stopped
        Sitting along and wondering why.

Life has no time for our selfish thoughts,
Life has no care for how we cope.
                         Life just moves on.

And so
Must we.

Easier said than done, I suppose.
I tried to mess with the format a little to try to convey how I see this poem and the way it flows. I'm not sure how much I like it but I guess it's okay for now
