It's easy to get angry
and see the worst in
everyone & everything
isn't it?

No one is above the
bottom mounted
power supply
if one is

One likely bleeds money profusely

At the bottom pointing
fingers at the
portions of pie
passed around

Get your pitchfork
Get your rock
Get your virulence
Put your words to work
Put the words to terms
Put the terms to head

Blow the brains

Serve justice upon the lame
Serve justice upon the poor
Serve justice upon the tray
Of silver fear

With the money
Make guns
With the gun the
Money, make or break
With the money
Buy guns
With the gun ****
With your gun away

All these people fighting over
Fences and personal defenses
Look more and more like ants
On this elevator up

As the poverty line rises
The middle meets the bottom
Resources are scarce as it is
Now add to that the opulence
Wanting younger sibling of
The richest parts of a country
And you have two distinct groups
That don't understand how
The U.S. government works
That don't understand mass
Media conglomeration
That don't understand those
Two groups fight and also
Fight the churches for the
Remnants of our human soul

Earth is the perfect farm
Introduce a material form of power
Then put your bids on the board
Watch as the poor and the poor
****** each other for the right
To dive on coins

Left.
Right.
Up.

Down is where we're at.

I believe in a number of things
Horses, gators, even mammals with wings
I believe that a bird and a rat, got cozy one night
and that became that
that as in bat
a bat became that
from the bed of a bird and a rat.
the bird saw the rat being chased by the cat
that they had in common, the cat was a brat
So they chatted and chatted, till the chat became flat
I haven't a bed, but I do have this mat, said the rat.
This mat will do, the bird said as she sat.
soon that became that
that as in a bat
a bat became that
from the bed of a bird and a rat.
I'm tired

flat, the earth theory - a minimal haiku
Is it round or is it square?
I don’t have anything against them flailing about,
With their commanding stare and whisper shouts,
Don’t get me wrong it’s not an easy job,
To keep all in time with a clean kebab,
And I don’t think I could keep a civil look when an oboe’s flat.

I think that’s when my brain would crack,
Just as when you break a twig,
First you feel the wood bend and give,
Then Crack! Like stubbing your toe,
Sudden pain and yelling, I’ve thrown my shoe at the tone deaf Oboe
and when the storm is over
retreating back into the recesses of my mind
and though the rain and wind and fog are gone
the loud bursting of the flashing lights

some clouds still loom in the sky
and the sun doesn't look like it use to shine
and I am tired and battered but 'I am fine'
and here, I have stood, for some time

where the wind is no more and no sound rings about
and though I thought so many times before
that anything was better than that storm
I sometimes long for when I knew myself best
in a rugged, torn state
where I felt with such passion
and thought with such vigor

yet here I still stand
in a limbo of mind
with a cavern in my heart
and the world's ******* rising to my eyes
its that feeling of lightening
crackling through your veins

a sense of urgency and restlessness
gritting teeth, jaw clamped shut

trying to stifle a scream, deep within
muscles flex, knuckles turn white

head in hands and hair in fingers
verging a threat to the roots clung tight

"you can't change or progress"
"locked away in the corners of your mind"
"no happiness or sadness"

stagnate and still
while rotting away

Behind the door of studio flat
Lies a man fighting.
Everyday a battle goes on in his head
But instead of giving up or giving in
He seeks adventure instead
He thinks life is seeking our truth
or the story behind the fact or fiction
He says life is not always what goes on in your own head
Life is a needle making a rich tapestry with a thread
Maybe it's affected by your heart more than your head
We all make it up in some way
From the sun to the light of day
From the moon to the shadows
From animals to insects
From rock to beach
Life is a movement a dance to teach
But in that dance we all play a part
Whispering thoughts across our words from our hearts
Born of lofty brains and souls
We all have roles
In the dance of life
Our heart beat is like a drum
Beating in a rhythm more complicated than drum and bass
Smiles are put across our face
When we realise we are as important as anyone
In the movement of the earth
The star dust made conscious
We walk around the place
We are faces lighting up
Drinking from the waters of realisation our cup
The universe made real
Each day this man feels the rhythm
The movement of life
Each day is a wondrous sight
Just to be alive
and it is gift
To be born and arrive into this existence or expanse
Life like he says is a dance...
