Tender crimson leaves,
shade the tiny, tired fairy,
masking her flowerbed.

Fairy tales have always had an antagonist;
an evil witch or vengeful pirate,
plotting against the beloved hero,
but not all stories are realistic.
There are villains out to get you,
but they can be a lot closer than a broom ride away.
The ones glaring with glowing eyes from the shadows emerge
and you recognize that reflection.

Sometimes the one preventing you from completing a task,
celebrating a victory,
or capturing the damsel.
Is because the distress is yours
and the hand locking it away can be your own twisting the key.

she gazes at the cherished sky
to a bright rainbow
with colors so vibrant and so divine,
her eyes just can't help but fly.

her wings spread out to the colors
the rainbow embraces
and her pure white wings
lay on this creation of wonders.

her heart blossoms
as she touches these painted drops
of this brilliant masterpiece
while her body softens.

peace unravels
in this majestic moment,
her wings expand again
back home she travels.

this destination would be home
one day for her heart
belonged to this race of colors
where she was never alone.

Once upon a time...
Promised myself
Never settle
For less than
Happily ever after
I now lay
Battered
Making Excuses
For the Wolf

Between the golden summer days
And winters gloomy sign
The gleaming autumn fairies shine
Floats down the colored ways

She loves to bake us pumpkin pies
And tells us all good night
And while we all are sleeping tight
Back in the glowing woods she flies

She wears a dress of silver silk
That matches by that view
The sparkles of the morning dew
She drinks like honeyed milk

While swinging down to summers end
She laughs and giggles spawned
And waves her little magic wand
To make us autumns friend

Look
Im scared too
We didn’t plan for this
Us
We assumed to wander
But now I cant help but wonder
What ******* chances these are
For you to pop out from the crowd
For you to pick up your phone
For you to pick me.
I could of stayed home that night.
And none of this would be the same.
We could of met at any point.
In the past, too early to be ourselves.
In the future, too late for our eyes to catch sight.

What I’m trying to say is that the universe put pieces in place for us to meet when we did
Because if we didn’t, would we/you/I still be here today?
We offer each other safety and happiness in abundance like hugs.
And passion like popping champagne.
And right now
Right ******* now
The universe is testing us.
It gave us these pieces and started the puzzle and now we have to finish it.
Because everything that is worth while is worth fighting for.
While we wait for weather to clear and sun to shine through,
Enjoy the rain clouds, because next time they come along, we’ll be in sunlight of our own.
Next time the rain comes life will have only just begun
Because like water to a plant those clouds bring me life and hope that one day
One day.
That house will exist.
And sure, we didn’t plan to have this at this time.
But **** it.
When did things ever go to plan?

So.
It’s us against the world.
I’m holding your hand until the day you let me go but I’m praying that day will never come.
So maybe I am scared, but I’m not worried.
Scared because I can’t see the future;
But not worried because I can imagine it.

Let’s write our own fairy tale.

The Crows Caw,
Its A Close Call,
Hidden In A Ring Of Toadstool,
Had To Run Before The Roads Fall,
Against The Fey We Fare Small.

Gutted The Planet,
The Unseelie Planned It,
Flames Of War (.)
The Reptiles They Fanned It,
The Truth Is Much More (.)
But Who Here Is Candid.

Volcanic Eruption & Spiritual Disruption,
Cosmic Consumption & Intelligent Destruction.

The Fey With Their Way
Make The Earths Axis Sway,
The Night Takes The Day
While We Humans Pray.

The Crows They All Caw,
Mourning Shrouds All Fall,
Warning Clouds Will Not Stall,
But I'm Safe With The Toadstool.

Like a clever fearless fairy exploring
She is the bit of magic on an otherwise static planet.

The maiden so fair
In all her grace
The gold leaf in her hair
And snow pedaled face
Night and day we sing
In elegant song
A rhyme to our queen

      And look Oberon!!!!!
Acrostic poem that correlates with another

Of all the kings
Bear him to mind
Eternal ruler of these
Riches, magic, and wine
Of fairies and song
Now praise Oberon
