All of these wires that lie by my bed
Leading to lamps, lights, and clocks around my head
Seem to be tucked away, out of mind, out of sight
Until I need to change out my two different lights
The trouble lies in finding which of the five cables I need to plug in to the three sockets for the next few hours.

In a land where dust blows over hard lifeless ground and children cry in their mothers arms. Hope is a luxury and want is an ever real fact of life. As mindless hate filled people battle over table scraps, while the innocent and the forgotten lay in want. Despite the best efforts of the brave and the selfless, the help seems to never be enough. On any given day, people are grateful for a piece of bread and clean water to drink, yet we take these things for granted. So do not forget the blessings you hold dear, for they can be taken away in a moment by the hateful and the selfish. Eternal vigilance is the price that must be paid, and reverent thanks is what heaven requires lest our land fall into despair and want and we too have little to be thankful for.

Today, I am saying yes
Today, I am saying I will
Today, All that I ever was
I am taking along with us.

I will bring home dessert
Even when you do not ask me
I will tell you the story
When you are not sharing it with me.

In the morning, I will continue talking
Even if you do not answer
Until you have had your coffee;
And in the evening, so tired,
You will hug me
While I am already sleeping.

It is not a lifetime I promise
But a routine we will cherish
It is not a lifetime I promise
But a routine we both wish

I will take your quirks and talents
I will embrace your light and darkness

Today I am saying yes
To the past, to now,
To our future, I vow.

I will not love you til the day I die
I will love you every day we live our lives.

Today we say we do
Today we say forever;
And I am yours,
Just the same, a little more each day;
Long after.

This is for the cell phone renegades
Those who use post its like grenades

This is for the average mavericks
Those who live in defiance of cruel cliques

This is for the subway gladiators
Those who live love over hate even in an elevator

This is for the commuter warriors
Those who ignore the bigots and barriers

To all of you out there , wherever you are
Let's create a better world, both near and far

rich*  in  grace
rich  in  love
poor  in  gold
my  love  is  sold
droplets above
falling blessing
running down
such is life
up and down
here comes Christ
as a dove
rich anew
everyday
fresh droplets
in my prayer today
prevents my everyday decay
rich  in  grace
rich  in  love
poor  in  gold
my  love  is  sold
His grace droplets
now unfold
rain grace droplets
I now hold.
Every five minutes they come
whirring like copters for war
slashing through immaculate peace
you crave to blanket your day with

Those speeding three-wheeled
gadflies
are kings of small streets and
act like you must pay them to

Extricate you from a cluster of
doomed and dusty eggs and bacon
deliver all that racket

in your head
every time you think
about buzzing
drones

on your meatloaf
in your heart
in your dreams
on your hopes
on your thoughts

about how marriage
should be
a man and a woman
now one soul in
two bodies
living together
committed
fighting for stable
“everydays”

The roses look damp
bouquets of mums
on the kitchen table
you pouring hot coffee;
the mug you took two
hours to pick out
is punctiliously stained.

You wake up to a painful alarm.
Feet hitting the floor you start your day.
With no feeling you shower and dress.
No breakfast needed.
The drive to work slow but rushed.
Work starts with a shouting boss.
Work drags on.
Lunch.
Tears welling up.
Work starts again.
Numbness and empty paper work.
The days end.
The drive home slower not rushed.
Home finally.
Sleep bed darkness.
Blank dreams filled with screams.
You wake up to a painful alarm.

Everyday there is  New Sky
With Cloud Adornments
Where Thunder  may Choose to Speak
Or Rain  Decides it will Tumble Down

Sun may Shine and Hide
In a patch of Blue
Or  burst  Cloud
With Rainbows

Comes Nightfall
Near or Far
A Symphony of Stars
And a Moon of many Phases

24/7
I LOVE the Heavens
And all the Treasures
To Eye Spy.

Everyday...
goes by....
And **everyday
...
I will only keep realising...
and be taken aback tremendously...

By how much my heart can contain...
this much love....
For a single person...
And how...
         I am still just falling....
                         deeper...
                                harder...
                                       hopelessly...
                                                carelessly...

                                                                      everyday...
                                                                                for you..

Lately I have a downy Frown
Letters read have clearly Degraded
Supposed was Angrily written
Hot Hands, here's a Mitten
Stand up Fast, Lookin a tad Dizzy
Stay on your Toes, Keep Bizzy.
you can say it out LOUD.
But I know you still think about it
When you're all Alone.
Thoughts rummage-in
Cool Down, Hurry the Air is getting Thick
Everybody looking Sick.
Follow the Trace, keep Quiet.
If you're not, we will find you silent.
Hide your Face, it's too Late now.
