There's something about the way he holds the
door open, something about his strange, straying
eyes, which scare me. Maybe it's the charm within
them, the blonde boy acknowledging my existence
without ever hearing the heartbeat which
goes with my name. Maybe it's the lost boy
who left her behind and is now paying
me the same regard, looking at me with
a kindness all too familiar and
an eagerness so unwillingly accepted.
~~ For the anonymous boy who looks my way. ~~

I beg you,

Daylight,
Let the sun radiates for a worthwhile
Let the rough wind turns its route for a worthwhile
Let the road clear its way for a worthwhile
Let the rain come, only to stop by for a worthwhile

I beg you,

Moonlight,
Let the small talks stream into branches not for awhile,
Let the laughter echoes, caves in everything through not for awhile,
Let the pause in-between sentences, silenced by hesitant gaze not for awhile
Let the affection grow, the two loud beating drums, only for them to hear, not for a while

This is all so new to me
It's a new kind of love
It's not overwhelming
Like the others, no
It's slow and steady
A love filled with safety
Not a love planted in
The way he looks
No, it's the way he is
His talents and charm
Yes, that's what it is
This is all so new to me
It's a new kind of love
But guess what?
I like it
What happened to the once-Great State of South Carolina?
What happened to the southern Hospitality, for it turned into Hostility?
What happened to the southern Pride that Tied us together?
What happened to the once-welcoming Communities and land of Opportunities?

What happened to the state I Live In, where things were never Given, but they were earned?
What happened to the people Surrounding me, though once proud to be here; are now Astounding me with hatred?
What happened to the beautiful Places and smiling Faces; all I see now is Destruction and Disgrace.

I love my state, yes. I love my people, yes.
But where did the charm Go, all that is around now is shade to Throw.
Where is the southern Charm, and the love where we would give an Arm to help our neighbor?

Here lie the broken Families, the torn palm Trees, in the once-Great State of South Carolina.

We talked for awhile and it wasn't enough , We loved for awhile and it wasn't
enough...
And i just wanted to see you...
We said a few words in a matter of four,i want just you to show me
that i'm good enough...
And i just wanted to love you...
You Make my heart say,
The right words that you needed to hear in a certain quest just to find
your prince charming.
You needed a shoulder to cry on in the mean time when he didn't treat you
right, in this feeling.
I use to say to myself,what was i doing wrong in the times of pursuing
you.
plotting ahead , waiting on you to quit him in this life so he could stop hurting
you, but i remember when,
We talked for awhile and it wasn't enough , We loved for awhile and it wasn't
enough...
And i just wanted to see you...
We said a few words in a matter of four,i want just you to show me
that i'm good enough...
And i just wanted to love you...

You Make my heart say.

Those Who Had Hearts Made Of Stone Surrendered To The Beauty Of That Girl With an Innocent Face... Today I See Most Of Them Picking Up What's Left Of Their Hearts.

Under the vault of snow-white
heaven, beneath the charm of
midwinter I picture the
home of mine in you.

-

beckon them forward
with smiles and charm

thrice get them anything
and everything they want

once beg their pardon
as you have nothing to spare

then pack up and leave them
*without a worry or a care
picked a title
ran off that

Never have I let a black cat get in my way,
Never have I turned a horseshoe upside-down,
And never have I looked at a broken mirror;
But yet it seems like black cats insist on getting in my way,
Horseshoes turn themselves upside-down,
And mirrors break themselves, to give me bad luck.

“Don't sweep the floor at night if you don't want to sweep away the fortune,”
“Don't open an umbrella while you're still inside, if you don't want to attract trouble;”
That's what they all say.
But it seems like no matter what I do,
Good luck and good fortune really want to stay away from me,
And misfortune and disaster really want to chase after me.

Every incident turns into accident.
No, it can't be just a coincidence.
I'm jinxed, vexed, and hexed.
Call me anything you want,
It won't change the fact;
I'm hoodooed, and voodooed, and cursed.

But the fortune teller never told me about
How fate would suddenly be on my side this time.
She read my palm
And looked at her crystal ball,
But all she saw
Was my ill-fated future.

But now the wheel of fortune has finally spun;
The one on the bottom is finally on top.
I guess this is the effect of karma.
Destiny has finally decided
To give me something I need more than anything,
And it's none other than a lucky charm.

This lucky charm cannot be worn like a ring, bracelet, or an amulet;
And cannot be stolen like a gem or a stone.
It's something that I am the only one who possess;
For it is not an object, but a person instead.
He's not a genie, a wizard, or anyone who can grant any wish;
Just an ordinary person, with an extraordinary magic.

Bad luck is my twin;
We're together through thick and thin.
But when I'm with him,
It's as if good luck is also with me.
Because he can make such an unfortunate person
Feel even luckier than a lucky charm.

I'm in no want of your pressed dress pant disposition
I need your candid charm

I don't care for the upscale timepieces
I need myself wrapped around your arm

I don't want the sleekness of your tie
I just need to be the only one in your eyes
