The challenge of living
is to search for opportunities
in my current situation
for joy and happiness.

The challenge of living
is to search for opportunities
to improve my current situation
to increase my joy and happiness.
They call it Ladder Country
From whence a new Babel grew
Ascension to space so that the race might continue
The Ladder stands monumentous, to deliver up the sundry
Our planet's health declined and such this was our plan
The Cabinet's decision ultimately to save
The human race's extinction, perpretually delayed
We deliver starseeds as woman and as man
Using a randomizer, a friend and I were required to write a poem using the words chosen. This was mine

A hundred days ago,
I decided it would be a good idea
To post a poem every day.
I thought I would give up after a week,
But now we're here,
Not having missed a single day
And it's been a hell of a ride.
Sadness, Anger, Happiness and love
A little part of my feelings every day.
Sometimes named,
Or not.
Sometimes a full poem,
Or a quick scribbled note.
They changed me a lot as a person,
And the way I'm seeing things.
It's been one of the best decisions I've made.
Ever.
I've met so many amazing people
And read so many amazing poems.
We have a hunded now,
But I'll see you when we reach
200, or imagine,
If we reached a year.
Wouldn't that be amazing.
Thank you for reading my poetry,
And supporting me whenever you could.
I love you guys.
bye
A "poem" every day.

Enchantment is a fools game,
one we’ll play with raw abandon.

Tastes of bitter honey,
of wishes we can’t count on.

Consider your challenge called,
before the end you will be mine.

I hope you know what you’re asking for,
to the risks I remain blind.
This poem was also a combined writing/editing effort.

They try and scare me
From the pain
Yet they forget to mention
All the strength
That comes along
When you’re faced
With the undeniable
Bitter and madly
Beautiful reality
that is this life.
Is the pain worth it?

Dreaming

I ponder after midnight
What it would be like
To take the first step
In a right direction.
Since I want so immensely.
I want to live until I die,
Breathe until my lungs collapse,
Draw until the world’s on paper,
Pray until someone hears me,
Give until I have nothing left,
Laugh until nothing’s funny,
Dance until the music stops,
Love until my heart breaks,
Sing until my voice fades,
Learn until I understand,
And run until the night falls.
Life is difficult.
In order to begin,
I need to wake up.

Truth is..
I miss who we used to be
From the way we used to talk
To the way you challenged me

Truth is..
I still miss you
I try to tell myself I'm over you
But we know that's not true...

In the next minute I will breath forty three times, and I will blink twenty.

In the next hour fifty eight people would have driven by, riding the highway to a place unknown.

In the next day I will awake ready to face the challenges of life and school.

In the next week school will be done and we will taste the sweet dew of complete freedom.

In the next month I will have adventures far and wide, spreading my arms wide to catch the spirit of time.

In the next year I will be older, I will enjoy other things and be much more experienced.

In the next 50 years I will be 65, the world beginning to fade around me and lose the luster it once held for young eyes.

In the next century I will have long since passed, no-one lives forever. The only sign of me will be a windworn grave and stories passed down to children I never had the chance to meet.

In the next thousand years I no longer exist. My name will never pass the lips of any being upon the Earth, all who knew me will be dead and gone, without stories to tell of me I will fade.

In the next hundred years I will finally fade, but in the next hour I will smile.

In the next week I will cry.

In the next year I will live, I will make the most of my time.
thou were not made
to weather the rain
thou were not made
to handle the pain

thou are just
an empty bowl,
to carry and test
the human soul
your body is the mech armor
made for the true warrior within
