The urge to call
and ask them why
and ask for forgiveness
and ask for an apology
and begging
and abusing
and finally cutting the call
and switching it off
and deleting their number
from your cell
and eventually from
memory.

love's calls ...

go wherever you want ...
hide yourself anywhere ...
keep in your thoughts ...
no matter for me ...
how long you keep ...
because ...
i'm always there ...
with you ...
living inside you ..
wherever you are ...
you are with me ...
because you are the love ...
the that i need ...

love is ...
happiness ...
to feel ...
and to give ...
to be loved ...
and to feel loved ...
and to give love back ...
then you feel happiness ..
this what i feel about whom i love ...
and this is love that i need ...

love is a calling ...
when it comes..
you can hear ...
you can feel ...
as your heart ...
always beats ...
feels it's beats ...
beats of love ...
that you can ignore ...
it's another beats ...
it's love ...
that you need ...
and always seeks for ..
as you hearts also needs...

it's love ...
this love we both seek ..
it's our hearts needs ...
calling us both ...
to be in this love ...
to live our love ...
to enjoy our feelings ...
because we really need ...
so sweetheart ...
let's be as love calls us ...
let's heart it's calls ...
and feel it happiness ...
by my and you ...
lets' be ..
as love called us to be ...
as it needs us to be ...
in this wonderful love ...

so babe angle mine ...
please heart this calls ...
and it's love's beats ...

Oh my estranged lover,
What is my mistake?
To care about you,
And to suggest?
That too,
For your own good?
I never wanted any control.

Oh my sweetest lover,
What is my crime?
To selflessly love you,
And to support?
That as well,
For yourself?
I only wanted a lifelong friend.

Perhaps, a friend has an end,
But I wanted you as my lover,
And a lover is for forever?
I started to suggest,
At your own request,
Have you forgotten?
I just wanted to care about you.

Then you say that you have parents,
And they care for you as well,
You are their first born.
And you have two siblings,
Then why do you put up strange demands,
Have you forgotten Manya & Atharv too?
I tell you the rudest words because these are the crudest truth.

Do you know when your father will take a loan,
Supposedly from one of the private banks,
What he will have to pledge against it?
Maybe his car or more,
Perhaps his business office,
Or maybe the home?
I will suggest you against going overseas to study.

Do not you know India has the best education,
Ranked number one since ages long ago,
Where you transpire to go leaving it?
Trust me you do not,
I know that,
But what about your family?
Will you surely repay your loan by yourself?

Baby, you are immature and a control freak,
Controlling me was almost acceptable then,
But why do you control your father?
I love you like anything,
Your father loves you too,
But do you love anyone but yourself?
Wake up from your fantasies and face the reality.
If you have that grit in you,
Get your guts ready for competition in India,
Because if away you will go then it will be wrong for your family.

This was not a letter requesting you to come back to me.
No, I don't want such an immature babe.
But this was just a request,
That your father's patience you don't test.
Under your pressure and childish demands, he might break.
He is a really strong man and I respect him so much.
Whatever you decide, please be wise.
If you decide to be a psychologist, it's okay.
Do read your own psyche at first.

been there done that
sitting under a desk
closed in with no leg space
rusted chair wheels
that won't even roll
one wrong push I'll flip out
phone ringing call after call
I'm answering question
so simple to answer
almost time to punch out
clock it ticks yet haven't
moved an inch
intense waiting
thinking positive
I know it must be done
the daily results that's
what pays my bills

I sit and think about all the things you've said to me,
Sweet nothings, the time you asked me to go on a date with you
I was almost but we stopped because you were too nervous.
So cute, so sweet, so independent.
Lately there hasn't been anything more though.
You don't talk to me anymore.
When you do its always,
"Give me an hour." "I'll be there soon." "Some other time."
No follow through though.
I'm waiting.
Always waiting.
"Soon" is never going to come.
I'll always be waiting on you won't I?

I didn't get the chance to see you everyday,
But I thought that when I did,
It was enough.
And if I couldn't make it there,
I could always call.

You always welcomed the calls.
I thought the hardest part of this would be a life devoid of your presence.
But you always welcomed the calls.
You always welcomed the calls.
Sometimes you just want to call someone and you realize you can no longer do so.

It teases me,
My destiny,
Giving few moments of happiness,
And then millennia of sorrow.

It challenges me,
My grievance,
Letting some smiles creep in here,
And then miles of loneliness.

But it must be lived on in hopes...
Of a better tomorrow,
Of a lesser lonely life,
Of a loving future wife,
Of a couple of cute kids,
Of a rainy day in togetherness,
Of a shinier life next rebirth.

But it sees me dream of my rebirth,
Another one in hopes of a better life,
And how my destiny mocks me,
I'm sick of its travesty.

It's the things I neglect when I'm trying to stay calm:
Friends
Sleep
Picking up phone calls

Nervously eyeing the clock again. I'm running on low it seems.

The sound of your voice, crackling softly over telephone wire, is cracking from the miles between us.

I don't blame you for not picking up.

I don't blame you for not calling back.

I don't blame you for any of it.

It's easy to forget:
Five years seemed to move so quickly.
And those scars, have they faded yet?
Do you know how I hate I remember it?

I'm haunted and losing it.

But you have to call me at 3:21 am because you know that I will answer because you know that I am drunk because I have been drunk for the past few weeks because you just keep calling
