Up in the sky ways
Some thoughts were flying
I tried to pick them
From the valleys of time

Beyond those black gates
Were schools that taught
Wisdom and science
And food for your thought!

Beautiful gardens!
Beautiful wine!
Autumn of sorrow!
Autumn of crime!

Down in the oceans
On the lands of the mystical
Horses were riding
Treasures were lying!

Fires were rising
Widows were crying
Rust of a golden city
In the valleys of time

Beautiful gardens !
Beautiful wine!
Autumn of sorrow!
Autumn of crime!

Now when the sun shines
Clouds scattered and dying
There hides a place called heaven
In the valleys of time!
People have learnt to education, making beautiful objects and societies but never learnt the true meaning of love and brotherhood

Bugle call in cadence be
spread your deep sincerity

Reverberate its call
within our minds
of good deeds done
for better times

Heroes of every walk of life
remembered by bugle sounds
into vesper night
It's sounding love of mankind
and sacrifice
About everyday people
like you and me
About brass sounds that triumph liberty
It's sounding our land, not laid bare,
by the right to speak
It's sounding about lives laid down
that freedoms seek
And through that bugle call we see
in taps that sound great dignity

We must fight
not to relinquish
our hard earned truth
in bugle calls of our youth

Now i lay my bugle
down to sleep
And still i hear that
sound
that haunting sound
forever be
that ushers forth
our dignity
Hang strong "We the People" have the masses. This poem was meant for
people like Martin Luther King who gave forth positive contributions and died
in helping mostly the middle class and poor; have a good 4th.

naririnig mo ba?

a spoken word poem against fraternity-related violence

Up went the roar of the crowd,
Ascending, volumes above, beyond
The everyday murmur of pestering silence.
A futile struggle to withstand its force,
Like a vast wave, rogue and raging,
Slamming nature, a slap in the face of feebleness,
This crowd roars…

Not anger, not anguish, or grief,
But a prideful scream of declaration;
The masses make it known, and known again,
Fists raised, pulverizing the air to a beat
Of human design, of togetherness, of solidarity
In the fight for those like us, a howl,
This crowd roars…

Stampeding feet berate the beaten earth,
Invigorated legs supporting pounding hearts,
To a beat, rolling with the flow,
Energy infusing the soul, encased in flesh, bone, and blood;
Marching onward, forward, processional strides
Declaring and making it known with battle cries,
This crowd roars…

Shouts of proclamation echo the strident resistance
With thunder, earth-quaking, walls crumbling, chains shattering
With thunder, dancing against the discordant system;
Proud warriors raising flags of protest
Amidst the roar, roister, and riots, rising reactionaries
Refusing submission, declining resignation,
This crowd roars…

Bounded together, by blood, by common cause,
Mingling masses of forgotten arise with a vocal
Outcry, intense, pulsing from the core (of us)
Like an infestation, infuriated, a torrent swarm (of us)
Flowing upwards, eroding all obstructions.
Declare, proclaim, announce, request, demand,
**This crowd roars…

Brothers front with endless affection
Reveal true colors from deep within
Ocean blue eyes now chaotic infection

The ***** within stabbed by your own
Once was full but now is drained
Drought in trust left him alone

Bottled up sealed with sorrow
Eyes strapped ready for launch
Hopefully all is better tomorrow

Smiling face embracing his flaws
Perfection the effect
Betrayal the cause
Pinuro* ang lupang *buhangin ang kulay
Mga yapak, pawang sadsad sa konsensya
Nagpapawis ang sarili
Pati mata’y may butil na di sadya.

Gamit ang sariling lakas,
Babaunin ko sana *
ang bughaw na nakaraan
Bagkus *kumikinang ang dibuhong

Sampal sa pagkatao.

Hindi ko sya matitigan
May kurot sa puso
Kahit minsa’y walang emosyon.

Mabuti pa sya
Yakap na ng Ama
Habang ako’y makikibaka pa
Pagkat paglisan ko rito’y
Buhay ko naman
Angpagtitibayin
Susulong ako na parang leon
Ngunit walang pangil
Pagkat sa kahirapan pa rin
Dadapa at magpapaagos

"Keep your rage in check.
your life's a ******* wreck .
all you do is ***** all day."
I don't hear a word you say. I have a temper yes its true. I try my best to keep it down it never shows when others are around. I take it mostly on myself. Then I paint the walls with my scars.
Still I could never be you. Hitting girls where the bruise won't show. Your no uncle of mine. Not by blood not by choice.
Drinking beers to hide my fears. The only thing to fear is me.
You can **** on me all you want.
spit and **** and call me names.
But touch my brother or sister still. Ill bring your world down in flames.
They are all I have, there is nothing left. No friends, no fears, no hope, no rest.
There is no ledge, no line in sight.
No moral code, no fair play, no even fight, or honor here.
Only the horror all should fear.
We seam to think little now days of the roles of brotherhood and fatherhood and what they really mean.
But truth is every nigh unstoppable badass in male history has had a tie like that at one point.
And just like you hear all the girls say "I'm proud to be a mother."
I'm proud to be a brother.
and I'm proud of how my father raised me.

My mind has been made up
I will wait for the day that I will see you again
You died for a reason
And you didn't die in vain

Our brotherhood will never break
From friend to brother
We've been friends from the beginning
And I will never forget you

You left me with a promise
I will make that promise happen
I will do this for you
For we are brothers

When I saw you being buried
I mourned for you
Because you mean so much to me
And I want you to know that

It's been 19 long years
Since we became friends
This year is our 20th
Although I am not with you

We had lots of fun back in the day
But that's the past
We went on our separate ways
And I know it's for the best

We are still brothers
From beginning to end
We are still brothers
No matter what happens

We may in different dimensions
But I know that you are looking at me from above
You've been looking after me since we were young
Now it's my time to become independent

I will fulfill the promise we both made
I will do everything I can to accomplish it
This poem is dedicated to you, old friend
Till we meet again

Be smart be alert
Do not hide the truth my friend
Defend the truth until the end

RW Dennen-

Come my brothers and sisters
let us be basked in the sun of glory
Be we the tears that fall
surrendered on cheeks that tell their tale

Let slavery's master-yoke be broken
  and cast away

Come my brothers and sisters
and so do join in our power's struggle
  to lend a better day

Come my brothers and sisters
may your shining soul be at rest

Come be as neighbors no matter far away
  let our colors merge one into one is one;
    let racism fade away
and let rest us upon the immovable stone
of brotherhood; so powerful we are
And so too awaits our resolve enlightened by
our hearts of day

Then tear that awful blind of ignorance
and sing our song till all merge into one
And laud that peace that will increase good tidings to us all

Be that light until that sight
when colors merge and BROTHERHOOD,
  to never go away...
The movie "Selma" and that powerful music "Glory" inspired
me to write this piece. I loved Martin for what he did for all colors
on this planet earth
