Another song
Begins to
Catch that
Dancing beat, which
Excites the minds and
Feelings of all around.

Groups and single people
Huddle around, waiting to
Ignite a battle,
Joyful and merry, they bounce
Knowing the outcome could
Limit their times together.

Many cheer,
Nobody is silent or still.
Outsiders slide around,
Prancing to get a look,
Questions are flying from all faces.

Rainfall, the
Situation becomes
Tricky.
Uninvited, the police
Visit the scene,
Wanting no need for
X-rays on attendees.
Yellowy bruises run,
Zigzagging the thrill of the chase.
Always I try to lead,
But my feet drag like lead,
Coming to my knees to pray,
Don't always keep the hunters from their prey.
Everything is falling, yet I will be okay,
For I know that sometimes
God calms the child, not the storm.
Hours of my time--
I wish it was our time...
Just wait for me, the dead weight is
Killing me, dragging me
Lower than it ever has before.
Minutes tick by,
No one sees me as I bid goodbye,
Only a minute problem though.
Perhaps I am invisible,
Queer, or
Rude,
Someday I may be better,
Though I know no one can buy me.
Unlimited is what I am,
Value cannot be placed on any one's soul.
Wounds will heal,
Xanthous sunshine will brighten the world,
Yet again at peace,
Zealous in the celebration of life.

Anytime you feel lonely
Beckon for me to come into your arms
Catch hold of my hand in the shadows, in the back row
Don't let go.
Every day is a new day
Feeling good
Good feeling
Happy... Almost.
I* don't want you to leave as well
Just stay, please...
Keep your fingers crossed
Love the way that your dark eyes shine so brightly
My heart races in your presence
No good can come from this
Only few understand.
Please hold on for a little longer
Quit with the teasing already
Ridiculous, our circumstances...
Slow down, I want to know more
Tell me your deepest secrets
Under the light of the moon.
Velvet blankets, picnic baskets
What's next?
Xoxo, your biggest fan
You never did understand my jokes
Zzzzzz, goodnight, day dreamer...
Now I know my ABCs,
Next time won't you comfort me?
Alphabetical order fun

Poetry
A word majestic in its own,
Poetry is a tool
A path I take to calm down
A direction I go when bland sentences alone can never truly express,
When the words stay trapped in my throat,
Never spoken,
Because I am not able to show my true feelings through spoken words.
I write.
I don’t like to talk.
Because talking leaves room open for disagreement
Talking, airing my thoughts, seems to ******* me.
Leaving me defenseless, a target to aim for.
Poetry is my small way of winning when I can’t win elsewhere,
Poetry is a battle plan,
Poetry is a blueprint
A map to my emotions, my feelings, how I view the world.
Poetry is like a script
When I can’t speak anything from heart,
When I’m sometimes trapped in my mind
And the unspoken, unwritten words catch me in a web,
I write.
I can organize my thoughts in a way that makes sense to me.
My poetry doesn’t have to make sense to others
My poetry doesn’t have to live up to the standards of others
My poetry doesn’t have to meet the status quo
In my poetry
I’m finally free to express
To say something in a society that’s gone at ends to keep me quiet
To finally tear down the walls that have kept me prisoner in the silence
Agree, or shut up, they say.
My poetry doesn’t have to agree
My poetry reflects back to me,
And I’m proud of the sentences made by words strung together
Out of the 26 letters of the alphabet,
Isn’t it amazing?
Get to the point, they say,
But how can I describe what poetry means to me using simple words such as
Happy, sad, and mad?
Give me something to work with here.
You don’t have to like poetry
But I love it.
This was an assignment from english class. Hope you enjoy it!

Absolute bravery, considering dangerous explosives found goals. Helpless individuals juggled keeping lookout, many new operations, people questioning routes, suspects tortured, unsightly views. Wasted x-rays... young Zak.

Are we going to
Be okay?
Can you come to my window,
Dig up a few stones from the
Earth,
Hit my window, wake me up.
I can be your landlocked lover
Just give me a river
Kiss me underwater
Let me be your swimming pool
My
Nights will no longer be
Opaque, but transparent
Pulsing with handfuls of confetti stars
Quivering like my lips.
Rest is for the dead,
So let's make our heartbeats quicken.
Take my hand, and
Under the watercolor sky,
Violet with the breaking dawn,
Wait until the sun returns. Know that we're
eXactly where we are meant to be. Say
You will stay.
Zip up your coat, and we will keep each other warm.
Thought it'd be fun to try out this format, and I really enjoyed it!  I'm going to probably write more ABC poems in the future.

Am I going to make it?
broken, beaten, burnt, and blamed
can't breathe, can't speak, can't be–
Don't look pretty lover; drowning in life isn't a sight to see
Even when I thought I could be your strength,
Failure swarmed all over my body
"Give it up, go away" the voices whisper
Hell is a place on Earth and the demons cry out for me
I am weak; no one would disagree
Just take me already, no more waiting in this ****** misery
Kiss of death at my doorstep,
"Let me in, let it all go" the voices deepen
Maybe it was meant to be like this
No fairy tales, no happy endings, nothingness
Only your nightmares becoming reality
Pain surging through your body; the black blood dries along your face
Quit, I don't want any of this...
Realizing I am the demon- my mind, my body, my everything
Stinging stupidity- the evil lies within myself, clawing to get out
Though, it's too late, time is up
Up and underway, I was in too deep
Vicious and vengeance piercing through my black covered eyes
What am I? Who am I?
Xanax in my stream, in my pulse, in my heart
Yet reaching the end, hearing the beeps drop to zero—
Zero.
