To the people I forgot
I am an insomniac
there's no way that my sleep thinks about you
To the people I didn't continue loving
There's enough ocean to hide the love I had for you
To the people I admired every moment
its the time to end the every pretend that I had with you.

She doesn't own a mirror.

Confirmation of her beauty comes from those around her at all times.
Fawning fools adore,
jealous sisters abhor,
but all notice the shine of her hair, the tilt of her lips.

She does not dance.

Her steps lead, and dancers follow with no reasons nor rhymes. They cry:
"Lead me not into temptation",
but in her ministrations,
they ache and beg for her glance, their hearts in her grips.

She does not care for suitors.

Her heart was long ago dulled by the fencing blades of admirers. And yet I
if honest, must admit
that it is a careless abandon, devoid of wit
that begs me join her jousters in mock combat for the privilege of her kiss.

What a porcelain fool, she, to inspire such a heartfelt, bloodtaxed roust.
What sorrier the fool, me, to join in such a sure dealt, unasked joust.
I find it funny (in my black humor) that so many chase one who only wishes to be left in peace, myself included. Beauty is often a curse.

The truest bliss you impart upon me
sends a shiver down each column of my spine,
etching track marks over all my body,
a drug no-one can perfect or refine.
Your visage leaves lightning bolts on my eyes
and a heart palpitating in my chest.
Your body silhouetted in night skies
melts my deepest poetry to mere jest.
When we touch, it smashes my composure
into oblivion and far beyond.
When we lock eyes, I'm chilled from exposure
but for certain, only I feel this bond.
Although I strive for a day we would meet,
with the others, I could never compete.
Sonnets are my newest fascination, even in Iambic Pentameter. I'll try to post more than one daily.

I want to be miles from anybody but you.
I want to be wrapped up in each other,
I want white tangled sheets and your skin on mine.
Maybe in an abandoned tree house or a lighthouse.
All I need is a bed and you
and security from anything else in this world.
I want my vision to bounce off of the hairs on your head
and the teeth that live on the left side of your smile
and my favorite freckle of yours that you wont even ever notice.
I want our heartbeats to slow dance and our hands to wander.
I want our thoughts to discuss what our hands already know
as they search for gasps from each other's lungs.
I want to explore your realm of ecstasy for hours
then tuck your body into mine under the clouds
everyone else would call a blanket.

We'll forget what time is and feed only on each other's pleasure.
I want to escape anything outside of you
and I want you to take me away from any thought I've ever had
that doesn't exist solely because of you.

Nature wakes up with a smile
Beginning of morning twilight
Red sun peeking from the horizon
There is a blush in the sky
Excited, to wake up the admirers
To settle down to a temperate day
A buoyant heart, smiling within
A faint smile takes over my stupor
Infusing faith in me to face the day

The way the sunlight tiptoes in through the cracks of the blinds each morning to kiss you awake, well I could swear it rises just for you.

I think I fell in love with her
Although I have never spoken to her
I read every line  she wrote
And pictured her pale fingers
Dancing along her keyboard
Every word a small piece of her-
I fell in love with
The way she writes,
Nothing has captivated me so much
I will never speak to her,
We will just continue to follow each other
On a site dedicated to only poetry
Filled with many others like her and I
But I thought her soul was so beautiful
That I had to write about her

In my storm
you were the gentle whisper
that calms the mad waves..*
A stray of light
from summer sun
that gives warmth in the cold
This battle I fought alone is no more,
with your touch that fills up what’s missing
Emptiness is no more with just a breath that I take from you
You willingly offered,
Forgetting everything that should matter
For a moment, though I know this is not love
But for the first time, I felt right
Even if it is wrong
I don’t know what you see in me
I don’t know if I deserve this
But somehow I know
These memories with you
I will cherish and keep
The soothing words of want and admirations

I don’t want to know when this ends
I just want to live for a moment

The moon shines bright lighting up the world. It's glorious light brings eyes to look up and admire. The dark sky and the shinning moon brings harmony to the night as chaos reigns.

Do not deny me the simple privilege of expressing to you all the truths that I see. The pleasure in speaking my feelings. I need to tell you that you are beautiful. I need to say it.
I need to put it out there into the world and hear it.
I need to remind you, as well as myself, how lucky I am to be staring at something so divine.
Because oh god, you are what beauty is.
In every sense and tense of the word.
You are now,
were yesterday,
and will be tomorrow
a creature forged by the godly hands of Aphrodite
in all her glory.
A gift to all around you.
A pleasure to look at,
to speak to,
to think of.
You are a vision and I'd like you to know that.
