Wrap up the love
you so madly give to others
and open it
for
yourself.

Action is meaningless without meaning
Meaning is meaningless without action
Off you go...

The heartbroken girl smiled after ages...

For the meteor shower up in the dark sky...

Across the hillside taught her...

"𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓼𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 𝓬𝓪𝓷 𝓫𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴 𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓪 𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓬𝓮𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓫𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓲𝓯𝓾𝓵...! "
I so very love meteor showers...
Today I was inspired or rather kicked into action to actually write this after reading Gideon's poem on the Perseid!
Thanks for reading this...! ❣

We are the same being
different bodies and shape
different species
it is the same
but alive in this moment
same part of ecosystem
how do you **** a life
same pain as mine
is it so easy
would you **** me too,
but you are killing me
all the same
.

Conditioning

Is what we all

Carry along with us..

All of those boundaries

And attitudes toward

What confines and frees..

Then to discover..or not

That Freedom is overlooked

In our life as lived...

if my body is a temple,
then you've desecrated it.
touched me with irreverent hands.

'woman'

like it was a heresy
in itself
to breathe
and feel beautiful
in the form I have no control over.

have you forgotten
where you came from?
you have made martyrs
out of saints.
out of your mother,
and her mother,
and her mother,
so far back
that you no longer recognize
a goddess
when you see one.

the womb is a place of worship.
every curve,
every flaw,
every edge
of her body
a hymn waiting to be written.
we have made sacrifices
upon sacrifices
to appease the entitlement,
to cover the shame
they make us feel
when they say

'woman'

at an altar.
at a shrine
men made
to make themselves
idols.

'woman'
she's somebody's daughter.

'woman'
somebody's sister.

'woman'
somebody's mother.

'woman'
somebody's lover.

'woman'
somebody's friend.

but first,
she was somebody.

I.

This, a final offering,
before the clipping of wings.
A love like blood,
oh anathema.
A grey declined to black,
oh herem.

It means salvation
knelt with darkness.

II.

So it be!
So it be!
So it be!

Ring the bell,
close the book,
blow out the candle.

Douse the sacred sun
and find belief caught in fishermen's nets.

III.

In silence of angels,
climbing broken ladders,
no ascent, no longer.

Salvation has
knelt with darkness.

The world does not end with fury
And fire, blood ridden lakes with floating
Corpses and flies picking at our remains
As shells fall like leaves in autumn

It ends with beauty as a sin
And silence preferred over truth.
It ends with hollow men who hide
Behind dull eyes, sapped of all light

When pricked these men don't bleed
But spill forth mounds of straw

Up in the air
It is smoke and dust
Up above
More clouds in place
Up to the moon
Take me away
Let's leave anyway
Into the sky
If it was up to me
I'd never come back.
