The idle ghosts of innocence
Dance sweetly in a silhouette of sun;
Teasing tiny palms, they shimmer
As tempting gold specs of treasure,
And as he plants these small seeds
I sometimes sense Time seethe --
*Fickle is man if he cannot see,
Of remembrance, dust is currency!

A hidden smile
Covered by a sea of pain
Don't give up
One day your smile will emerge
From the ground
Enlightening other peoples faces once again
To all of you out there, who lost the urge to smile. Don't give up. Don't lose your smile.

if you cant see something inside of you that's worth fighting fore
then get a better mirror.
Because something inside of you wouldn't let you go
No you held on threw all the names and the hits that society labeled you with
You held fast to your life because who were they to tell you that you don't matter
Who are they to say those things to you
When you have no mom to go home to, no dad to pick you up
When what you turn to at only fifteen is liquor ad drugs
who are they to tell you to get over it
Sticks and stones brake bones don't tell me it hurts worse than a broken heart
don't tell me that when I go to sleep at night I might not wake up
Because if I wont wake up with a smile on my face what's the point
when I have to ask myself before I even open up my eyes is simply what will I get called today
What's the point
My definition of beauty is Mom
Because she is raising three kids, and she knows how it feels
No I cant hide that from her no matter how well I hide from kids at school, no matter how still I try to be.
No my mother see's.
When asked if I want to die, I stay silent
Because silence s the only thing that wont bake a heart
Now...
as other are going to sleep
we stay up, because when they close their eyes for a moment we dot have to run
Ask me again why I wont die
why don't I just back down?
Because My definition of Beauty is Mom
Because to many of us have been cast out like a knickknack on a shelf
because I wont lose my memory..no
I will not go silently

Some times I look up to the sky and think,
Did I lose it all?
But when I stare at the sky for long,
And the night falls I remember why the darkness is there,
To give the stars an opportunity to shine.
And those days I know that even in the dark there can be beauty,
I just have to wait long enough for the stars to appear,
So I go on and wait for my smile to shine as bright as the stars again.

A lonely girl fell in love
With the city skylines in
the horizon of time and
Distance. She lived for
Taking walks & watching,
Listening, being near all
The different stories who
Talked like she couldn't;
She had never learned to.

Her solitary soul found
Peace in pacing streets;
In passing and passively
Partaking in this company.
Perhaps a small smile or
A windswept "hello", she
Was happy. Always near
But never with, just this.
She needed nothing more.

I'm so tired of being the odd one out
left politely out of the loop
Sure I feel bad about my ignorance
but Jesus you should have told me
Wouldn't have ****** up if you'd have told me

You act like it's such a big thing when I get it wrong
but I get ignored by you all anyways
My own heart is my best company
lucky me
and I guess you'll never know the loop I've left you out of
Take that

I watched my sky fall before my eyes.
It hurts speaking
It aches likes nothing I've felt before
You messed me up;

**I feel an emptiness
where my heart is supposed to be
But at the same time,
I feel my heart is too huge
And about to burst
From all the pain it had taken in.

The dragon looms before him
With waiting wanting jaws
And with its talon-ed fingertips
It grasps him in its claws.

Together forever, blissfully
They soar up and away
He doesn't know he's falling
As the dragon flies away

And every time he hits the ground
And gasps in disbelief
The pain drags on until the dragon
Offers him relief

One day, wings will carry you
Beyond what you can take
Those soothing claws will let you fall
And crush you when you break.

you may not know me
face to face,
but you and I have connected
heart to heart through words.

Our lives are woven together by
the tapestry of words,
and into a living breathing poetry.

you and I are no longer strangers,
but fellow poets and sojourners
on this journey of creation.

With the brightest colors you've seen
But she hides them behind her back
For they tell where she has been...

At  night she can be found
Writing metaphors from her heart
For her head, deep in the ground,
Has a secret tearing her apart.

*Dear butterfly, spread your wings
There's a world out there for you,
What you're feeling, all these things
Aren't healthy for us two.

The growth of the Willows correspond
to the increased loudness of their rustling
reaching for the Sun
while the winds ruffle their leaves
waving to the Universe with spindly boughs
massed together like an impenetrable jungle.
How those thin and shaky trees survive winter
the battering wind and chill factor, is amazing.
