When crowds disappear and the sun never sets
When shadows fall further behind you
When Christmas lights shine like my heart in my chest
Bathed in the splendour, I will find you

As each day breaks and when night shines black
And the stars dance brightly before you
As each touch shivers, the souls of the lost
In the eyes of an angel, I will see you

From the depths of the seas, water embraces the shore
Amidst the blankets of blossoms grown for you
In each whisper of wind, with every leaf swept home
Through the eye of the storm, I will hold you

From every inch of my heart, From every crack in my soul
Seeps my life
weeps my world
I love you
You'll know its time to leave
If all the truths you are told
Are just twisted lies
Spoken by a masked figure
You once knew
this can apply to any relationship

I hate it
when she is with me
holding me,
teasing me
but in her mind it’s you.
She is playing with me,
trying to talk to me
but in her heart, it’s you.
You always come in between us,
She and I.
She doesn’t even look at me
if you don’t remind.
And when you asks
I hate that
She plays me
it’s for you.

I go to order a drink to help me forget
As I look at the menu one catches my eye and all I can remember is what you were wearing when we first met
Samuel Adams printed across your chest
and now you're all I can remember when I'm trying so hard to forget.
My twin flame I will stop chasing if you stop running. It doesn't taste the same since you left.

I never really liked poems.
Or maybe it's proper to say that I'm not a huge fan.

If it is a piece of music
There's always a chord missing
Wrong rhythm
A bad intonation.

It does not suffice
In describing the myriad of thoughts in my head.
It was always short in line.
Short in feelings.
Too romantic
Or not at all.

But I remember staring at the ceiling
Imagining your smile plastered in it
I started looking for you in poems
I started drafting one
I started describing every parts I could remember
I start loving one.
the title is toooooo unique, yes?

I‘ll colour this poem
In green or blue
Tell me which one
I should use for you

Green,
Because you didn‘t
Stay, when I needed you.
You changed, as most leaves
in autumn do.
Or blue,
Because I drowned
In your eyes,
And you didn‘t hold
Me above water
So I died with you
Which one?

i want a lot of things
a whole list
i keep with me
all the time.

people ask what i want,
people give what i want,
but then again
i don't think it's what i really want.

then i came to realize
the list didn't have you in it.
Take your favourite lipstick!
Now,  quick!
Use maroon, vermillion, or desire,
But it -must- be red.

Take your favourite lipstick.
Do you have it?
Good.

Write nuance on your knuckles.
And kiss the world hello.
Just something quick I needed to say.

Imagine me there,
Making you breakfast,
In a loving stare.

Strawberries adorned in red,
Sweet and beautifully created,
You haunt me, even in my sleep..

One of a kind,
Understanding and nice.
-Come back again, I miss you.
an acrostic poem poem took up my time but it was worth it
