You are not too old to dream a dream
Not too weak to walk a mile
If you really want to see the light
There at the end of the tunnel, you can find
When you take the risk, when you take the chance...
Take it.

I've walked into a tunnel.
Following coats,
Dragging behind in
Abandon
The light is slitted
The shape above is
Too Close to my head.
The sharp,
Undecided angles bother me
And a nervous twitch begins.

I imagine it like a funnel,
Sorting population
To pass through in
Close quarters,
Contact guaranteed.

I sneeze
And cough.
My fever smolders
Making my skin chill,
And the thought of disease
Enters, and crowds with me,
Suffocating me to one side-
But not too close-
Don't touch anything.
Fear grows.
I am already sick
But I could get sicker.

Conspiracy drips over my thoughts,
My fever leaving the
normal functioning funnel
In my mind
To be burned away-
materializing in the city-
Around me.
My thoughts bunch
In clusters
And pass all at once,
Leaving waves of nausea
And claustrophobia
As I continue through the tunnel,
Paranoia worsening my symptoms
By the step.
Was very sick yesterday and foolishly made the mistake of busing into the city instead of going to school.

Under the night sky walking with the moon
I hum a little song with a lazy old tune,
I live here at the sea but still afar I see,
what is known as, the tunnel of dreams

Dark it is when you get right inside
They say by the end, is a different life
Some who have gone, have never yet returned
Some who have returned haven't spoken a single word
Fear on their faces is only that I see

Night inside it is and cold blows the air
Think I am a fool as I walk by its side
Think I might die and never then return

But then again I ponder,
and take a step forward
If I enter here never, only I will yearn,
yearn for the story that I longed to hear
That man who walked this tunnel, who walked till the end,
who conquered all his fears, found his glory day

Who knows I might, never then return
The only belief I have , the one to which I stick
By the end of this tunnel, is a new world
Of shiny bright light, an unseen world

Think this in my head and take a step inside,
for here shall see me never,
cause I will move in darkness,
till I reach a new, beginning at the end ,
of what is still known as the tunnel of dreams
Sometimes all it takes is taking that step, that one risk to achieve your goal. The one who is patient reaches till the end,the one who isn’t doesn’t.

My trail of thought left with the train in the distance
Do not disturb my blissful ignorance
Because it's a long way to jump from here
Adrenaline rushing through a tunnel of thoughts
As tangled as a tube map
I stand at the crossroads of my life
Mindlessly dodging traffic.

names faces traces places

the laces of shoes she said I couldn't walk a mile in

but my feet are fins that should slice tides like skin

but they're rocks chipping

ticking clocks documenting inception

redemption and the vain conclusions you beat to and beyond the grave

from ivory frames crushed in the dark room they rise

as flies bursting into the focus of the microscope's lens broadening past

the horizon of a single winged back

I heard your life's been hard,
you're counting the welts on your soul.
You've played all your cards,
working towards no specific goal.

You're texting for hours on your phone,
Yet you still feel so alone.
You can eat at work or school,
But you're never really full.

Well, guess what?
Inspiration's knocking
So don't be door-locking
Here's some light to keep at bay,
the demons that chase you night and day

Let's start.

I believe everything turns out well in the end.
If it's still sour, then it *
isn't the end.

The sky is never the limit, you will reach your dream soon.
If the sky was the limit, why are there
footprints on the moon?

There's always a way to stand out, and not to be just "passable"
Remember, every great achievement was once known as
impossible.

There will come a day when you can't open up your eyes,
*
But what matters is what you do until that day arrives.
Every time I see a depressing quote here, I have two choices.
Feel down, or get everyone up.
I choose the latter.

If we always look through a microscope
We miss the bigger picture

That look you give me is like the light at the end of the tunnel that we all talk about.
That end
That finish line
The light I see is not an end at all
It's the beginning of something beautiful
Like a flower seed being planted in my soul
Waiting to be doused by your love
So that it can bloom
Ill wait forever forever for that look
For that one chance to have it all
All being you.

We are nudging out nature, in our selfish interest
Almost trying to outdo nature and create our space
A space devoid of any beauty, mechanical churning
Deafening noise, drowning us in the decibels
Haze from the industries, making our vision blurry
Oblivious to the perils, of where we are heading
Are we leaving or building a safe abode for our progeny?
We can live in denial and continue to march ahead
Trampling many natural dreams in the name of civilization
Or measure success in different parameters
As success can’t be at the cost of defeating the purpose of life

Broken Soul-

The pain I feel can never be lifted.
The needs my heart hungers for no
man could ever possibly provide.

Suffering inside with no light at
the end of the tunnel, no hope to
find a way to mend all that is
broken within.

So I sit in constant darkness,
filled with feelings of eternal
hopelessness and fear.

Just waiting for the day it
shall all come to an end.
When I will finally be able
to forever leave and just
simply disappear.
