In public we hate each other
But secretly we entertain each other
When the sun goes down our shift begins
During the day, I pretend
Like I'm so sick of men
When really I'm so quick to give in
I don't know why I act so shy
Maybe I like the chase
Though I do know, you like my taste

Nobody knows about our affairs
Except the stars in the midnight air
They light up when they see you worship my body
And the way you're built is so godly
That's probably how you got me

I don't mind this relation
I like it better than the feeling of **temptation

The waves compelled her to jump
To feel the adrenaline that made her heart thump
To walk right in and be comforted by the endless blanket of sea
She knew that danger could arise, the kind that sets her free
The desire to do so took its toll, she knew this would be her last chance
She closed her eyes and with a smile she got into her stance
As she jumped, she felt the world blow off her without a care
She then realized that life itself is just one huge dare

Why am I here?
What is there to complete?
Is there some kind of mission?
Must I compete?

What is my life meant to compromise of?
This can't be it.
Born empty handed.
Naked - No start-up kit.

Find yourself they say.
Where do I begin?
A life full of tempters,
Though no tolerance for sin.

"Come one, Come all!" they shout,
Promising excitement.
A step into a shade of grey,
An unknown world of enticement.

A life full of tempters,
Though no room for sin.
Find yourself they say.
**Where do I begin?
Catching, imperative
Just like a great cup of tea
Curiosity is cumulative
'Wonder what's grasping me?

These tides flowing peacefully
Numb, pondering your grace
Achieving supreme harmony
Within your tender embrace

Living casually, unoccupied
Nibbling softly into meditation
My happiness would be amplified
If only I’d give in to temptation

i can’t tell you
how many of the apples
you left in a basket
are still untouched
on my bedroom wall
and how many are already
thrown out because
they began to rot.

i can’t tell you
how many of the apples
you left in a hurry
weren’t there in the first place
i just grew them
because i wanted them
in the basket
that you brought.
Such ignorance,
such temptation,
Such Ambition,
such delusions of grander,
such hedonism,
such debauchery,
such betrayal,
Such jealousy,
Such bigotry,
Such caprice,
Such entropy,
Such stupidity?
such is human Nature.

Look at the sky and now look at me
Like those wonderful planets, is that how you want to be?

They might be magnificent but they keep doing the same
They circle around with fun neither shame

Together we can break such a routine
Life can be better than it sometimes may seem

All you have to do is accept the good parts
Don’t resist, but enjoy this assembling of hearts

Look at the sea and now look at me
Like these glimmering waves, is that how you want to be?

They grow and they grow but they die at the shore
Growing seems to be all that they are living for

Now learning is good but what is life without pleasure
For just one night you could be my loved treasure

I might be different from all you know and all you’ll ever see
But doesn’t that make you realise how special this could be

Look at the sand around us and now look at me
This actually is how I would like us to be

Close together at the most precious place
Evermore near the sea, the sky and your gorgeous face

I don’t expect us to live forever here
But please don’t let my whole wish end up in a tear

Now please stop my longing and come oh so close
Together we will be like a blooming rose
