she was so unaware
i couldn't help but stare
she was lost
she was emerged
in the world
within those pages

my gaze unintentionally fixated
on the girl
with green speckled eyes
and the loveliest lips i've ever seen

her fingers
so delicate
turning the page
quietly, gently
as if not to hurt
nor disrespect
the yellowing pages
and the tiny print

the range of emotions
so clearly displayed
through her expressions
as she read through
i was entertained
by the little smirk
which turned into
furrowed brows
then sorrowful sighs
as the story went on

she went through the emotions
and took me along with her

everyday since then
at 12:04pm
i look for the girl
in the library
hoping to catch a glimpse
of my
*literary fantasy
give me the chance to love you, i'll tell you the only reason why: cause you are on my mind.
Why* do they appear so mystified?
As if every little thing must be justified
Moved to fit inside their small box
And look away when their key couldn't unlock
What they aimed to achieve
Does it ever make you giggle
When people call you fickle
But they're the ones whose eyes are fixed
On an object not quite literally applicable,
Something regarded as abstract, typically unseen
You see: I am a metaphor
And people stare at me.

Your eyes brighten
I watch you smile
It's a poignant reminder
Of what we once were
Why do I feel such melancholy
At the sight of your joy?

I have a sudden urge
To engage
In conversation with you
But as I try to step forward
I freeze
And fill with rage

You stare at me...
You never did anything
To deserve avoidance
I simply associate your glee
With painful memories
Of my own

I wince
As it reminds me
Of our past, of us
I just hope you know
That I am yet
To forget you
Some thoughts from today :-)

What is this life of full of care
We have no time to stand and stare
no time to stand beneath the bloughs
As long as we stand like sheep & cows
no time to look the woods we pass
where squarrels hide their nuts in grass
no time to see, in broad daylight
A poor life this is, full of care
We have no time to stand & stare,
life is just like  a busy life no time to talk to each other

What are looking at?
Oh nothing. i just looking at you
- Stop
*I can't. You're so beautiful. Too beautiful for me.
Everyday i noticed you stared at me.
Believe me, i saw you looking at me.
I wish I can say stop staring at me because I don't want to love you. I don't want you and I get hurt.

Dark words
Seeping through your blood stained lips
Bound

Dark stare
Piercing through your blank deep eyes
Torture

Dark heart
Piercing through your soulless mind

We lock eyes across a swarm of strangers
and for brief moment time slowed
It is only your presence I notice
I force myself to look away but I can't
Content with being stuck in this moment
Compelled by your familiar eyes

Day after day we share these looks
Even when I don't see you
I feel your eyes upon me
As if pulled towards the gravity of your stare
Tempted to discover your intentions

Oneday I take in all of you
My eyes run over your entire body
and rests on your hands
Where I see the band on your wedding finger
My eyes drop to the floor

I have averted your gaze ever since
Your intense, passionate, all-consuming stares
Should be afforded to your wife, not me
