Aum..Omm
the wind booms,
the holy chant
kept awakened
my inner power grid.

The invisible fingers of wind
play sensually
on the salacious forms
sand readily assumes.

Inside the pyramid
I built brick by brick
with my love for you,
hope and anticipation,
silence stood frozen;
ages rained over it.

I was oblivious of
anything other than love,
kept waiting for you there
in my anthill beyond time.

time immesurable passed
like waves after waves
beating on the sandy shores,
numbers are just the creation
of mind's illusions like time and space,
but love I believed would fight back
the vagaries of human transience.

and at last I see
a turtle swim above white form
of an imagined ocean, my love
I see you swimming along
a mysterious apparition.
the moment has come
to redeem me from this bind.

It's like coming up from
the depth of blue waters
escaping a death by drowning.
Seeing your smile  was like
an assurance for a place in the sun, all over again
but I stood stunned as you walked past in silence.

And when I chased, you dissolved like a mirage,
the shadow alone was left on the sands, a coiled serpent skin!

after a trek that felt like a lifetime, I found you again,
there , at my favorite oasis; but it wasn't you
I knew from the first sight.
                                               On my lips you kissed
one last time, for the sake of love that kept us wait in vein
in words dripping pain you whispered in to my ears:
"This  isn't real my love, you are day dreaming,
forget me the flower bloomed in mirage, go back to depth,
stop vainly flitting in transience, only one way we can unite
eternity waits for us , it's not this shadow of love, but real"

When I was young
When the sky was new
And the air was fresh
And flick'd with blue
And there was me
But not yet, you

When I was young
With many thoughts
And many dreams
And not yet caught
Up in eyes
Of the bluest, blue
Oh, there was me
But not yet, you

When I was young
And patient, still
And love a dream
A constant thrill
And didn't hurt
For hurt was still,
A long way from my mind

And now there's you
And there is me
And maybe "us"
And maybe "we"
Can't commit
So far you flee
You leave me far behind

And now there's me
But there's no you
There never was
So know, it's true
That love is fast
And love outflew
My grasp
I could not keep.

You fall down,
Feeling naked, bared,

You get up again,
Feeling hopeful, positive and enthusiastic

The cycle repetitively continues,
Until we realize
That we can choose to always remind ourselves to get up before we fall down
Feeling inspired by life's challenges to move on

The whole drive I could not stop the stream,
Hot and urgent they let themselves go,
Gleaming like shiny babies in the artificial white lights.

The bald heads vacantly size me up as I arrive;
These ghosts have seen their share of streams
Till they have none left to reminisce.
They nod knowingly.

I hurry to the mirror to destroy any evidence and......I smile.

These tears have created the perfect smokey eyes.

Dizzying heights
This soul has scaled
Pinnacle of glory
Euphoric moment
Kissing the softness
Sky is the limit
But this passion
To reach beyond
And touch the depths
In-between this journey
Much is revealed
Soul is testimony
To the eternal journey
And the zeal to win

The moat we dug with our own hands
filled with our blood
carries us around the castle erected on foreign lands
while we wait
for a door to open before we drift to the wrong side of empty sands
and what did we learn
except not to drown hoping for the current that was beyond our commands

But is there no consciousness
that will reveal itself to another in the same manner that it reveals itself to you;
is there is no revelation
that will ask less faith of you than what you have already been told was true;
is there is no love
that has not already lost that is less painful than the one you already knew;
is there is nothing beyond the next sunrise
greater than making another person feel worthy of your love too?

Three simple rules I've learned*:
1) Don't judge and you'll gain respect.
2) Having respect builds honesty.
3) Honesty reveals who you really are.
Yes, I know this is not something like a poem but I hope you understand what these three rules can do for you.
The cliff of epiphany, perched below the lonely sky ,
Played host to divine directions that none dare defy;
But when men conquered the realm of gods,
Forever in Favour of ephemerals, remained the odds.

The game of chance , is a an antique of an age dead;
When questions haunted our mortal head;
And answers were disguised in victories, pyrrhic for most,
The vestiges of which seldom wash off the temporal coast.

Like a fugitive marking his escape,
The candle’s flame flickers, sans shape.
Like a melting heart, it lives its end,
For to exist today is to offend.

So once again thunder strikes, the cliff of old,
The cliff of gibberish  ,where our mortality was sold.
The epiphany echoes through the valley of the doomed,
Where once danger thrived and adventured bloomed.

So,
This City shall burn ,
And so shall I ;
But I’ll wait till I hear its final sighs,
Lest I become a lover , without a mate,
Yet On the crutches I stand of fickle fate.
Now , I hear the cries of the living corpse
As he sheds his skins of mortality
He stands open as he begins his morph
Towards a new reality .

Maybe my whole body is a compacted lump of doubts and expectations, ****** choices, and lonely words at 2am.
Maybe that is what I am.
I'm made of ****-ups, uncomfortable apologies, and stolen bubble-gum *****, carelessly beaten into a
vaguely human play-doh masterpeice
