Breathtakingly stark
icy pools in somber eyes
distant, secluded
My first ever haiku. How was it?  Any improvements needed?

Fragile hands,
Weathered and cracked,
Grasping onto the neck of the swan
They are tough,
Yet, all the while, their reach is gentle,
And they glide with the swan to the pond’s lively middle

Up

Up they go

Ricocheting off the dancing beads of
      water

       doing the tango,

         the salsa,

            and, at last,

               ballroom.

The sun beamed at the meadow with blissful happiness
As I rested by bones, bathed in warmth, the aroma of grass seasoned slightly by water droplets found itself comfortably in my nostrils

Seas of time seemed to stretch out before me with welcoming arms
The perfect tranquility, the soft breeze accompanied with the swaying of the flowers like some rhythmic dance.

Green trees and foliage delighted to see me as I strolled by.
Just over the dip a pond could be seen, jubilantly conversing with lazy dragon flies.

Berries springing from every bush like glimmering jewels residing peacefully in a crown of leaves.
The tactile curiosity of an ant navigating the plains of my palm.

The blue sky stretching vastly in front of me yet seemed as though it was a canvas, waiting for my imagination to paint

A place where time stops.
Wanted to create a landscape poem.

Yesterday I went
jogging , my feet stamped on ground
like an elephant

hey for the first time
I knew what an elephant
felt like..woo how strange!!

You should ave seen the
late sun it melted across
early evening sky

It made me want to
go home and drink a glass of
nice smooth fresh orange

has to be nice smooth
orange don't like orange with
those annoying bits

I loved the duck pond
It had a silver lining
Twinlking brightly

Oops no sorry it
was a park light shining bright
reflecting in pond

Anyway I had
to jog all around the park
My belly bounced bounced

It nearly knocked me
out , I panted so much I
thought I saw heaven!!!

The moon was pretty
and full it must have had a
nice big fat fry up

The grass was damp too
But all was okay as the
snow had disappeared

But where had the snow
gone , I know the answer..blame
the trees they drank it

Finally I got
back home and wrapped myself in
a cozy blanket

Then drank a bottle
of water as if I been
stranded in desert

Then i sat down next
to my Dean and we both watched
a film on Netflix :)
Went jogging yesterday evening x

We are a mere mortal
Two fates in a maze

Our love was hallowed by Eros
The blind, yet aimed his bow
Right through my essence
Right through your essence

Our passion was bound by Aphrodites
Two doves nesting
Two swans in Narcissus pond
Channeling the energy in our rite

Tragedy,
Mortal forbade the sacrament
We seek to endure the fall
Becoming stars,
As we cross one another
In an boundless interrior
Of our abode.
An undying love.

I am not a great man
By any means
But I am
One of the many
Known as Me
A simple complexity
Far from deity
A human
Being
Me
