I'd marry you tomorrow.
I'm not even kidding.
Like if you said,
"Let's go. Let's do this,"
I would be 100% down.

We haven't known each other
very long, six months-ish.

We haven't explored each other
like a ship sailing every
nook and cranny
of every ocean and sea,
but I've seen enough.

You are the best thing that isn't even mine.
And in time, I hope to make that statement a lie.

I want you to be the best thing that is mine.
And I, want to be the best thing that is yours.
I think we're on our way, even without
a perfect, smooth sailing.

So, you could say I'm shipping us,
a one-true-pair.
We'd go up the ark together,
and I think Noah would agree,
two-by-two, you and I would be
the two that he'd expect to see
pairing up.

I'd marry you tomorrow.
I'm not even kidding.
Like if you said,
"Let's go. Let's do this,"
I would be 100% down.

There's a theory in thermodynamics
For every reaction that occurs, some energy and order is lost to the universe
Heading towards complete disarray in the grand scheme of things
So naturally, right as things started to make sense,
As soon as my life clicked together in tessellated, repeating structures,
I followed the rules of my chemistry teacher and got black-out drunk
My life has become that floral shirt shirt you can't wear with anything
You thought it was pretty in the store-
They had it dressed up on a mannequin with sleek black pants
It looked edgy, and professional
But you aren't that mannequin

"I love you,"
Scrawled out as an afterthought
My handwriting increasing in size as I ran out of words for you
I have often been named a human dictionary, but I didn't want to give myself away this time
I wasn't even sure I wanted to leave a note
I taped it to the back of a painting
You'll find it eventually

The desert welcomed me with open arms, but was only a pause
Eighty years is a long time, and three days doesn't make a difference till the end
So my pocket radio cut in and out as I dipped into the grand canyon
They recommend a gallon of water per person,
But I figured a can of coke and a little soul could hold on for now

She wound up dead on a highway
"Bought a farm," said some of my favourite authors
"So it goes."

Her body's breaking down into smaller particles
Her hair is evaporating
All that's left is her ruined paint set in a plain white apartment

I don't even remember his name,
But at the time, I swore I was going to marry him
With as much conviction as someone with their finger halfway down on the trigger of a loaded gun
I have been fired at some odd angle towards bullet-proof glass
And for the first time in my entire life,
I don't know how I'm going to make it out of this
I feel like a lot of who I am came through in this. I write a lot of narrative, fictional poetry and though this (or these) story(ies) is obviously fictional, I still feel like I came through the text. I hope people get a very intimate and personal sense from this. Please comment :)

I used to love sleeping.
But I dreamed about losing you.
losing you. lose you. l.o.s.e.
So, I stopped sleeping.
I soon hid the blankets
                   the sheets
                   the pillows
I told you about my dream. You laughed
I told my friends about my dream. They laughed, too.

Now, I used to love laughing.
But I can’t laugh if I’ll lose you.

So, I married you.
I soon prepared the blankets
                             the sheets
                             the pillows
And sleep by your side. Now, I can sleep.

Time is all i need
for my memory to be freed
knowing one day will be my last
anticipating it so it wont go fast

Finding someone i love
someone who is pretty as a dove
to marry that someone
means your life has just begun

Time is i need
for my soul to be set freed
laying next to my wife
is all i ask for in this life
For my fiance.

I once have a dream
that I will marry before
having an ****** *******
but my dream have been killed
all because of Love...
Love make you do things that you don't wish to do...

Every word
might not be enough to describe my
best wishes for us,
even if I try to learn every language and
read every book.
Good times are ahead of us.
Every bad second assures
more moments that we'll much cherish.
Let this journey of ours make your worries
over and done and let Him
guide us to the rest of our days
and always know that I will
never leave your side.
I actually two poems for my future spouse, this was the other

You blind
your sight
with this
veil of expectations
but..
little do you know
that when I remove
it and kiss you
reality just tastes
sweeter and
sometimes
a bit sour

There was a knight
From a far away land
who fearlessly fought
with the king’s demand.
Slayed two dragons
With only one hand.

The Kingdom rejoiced
held a feast so grand!
While lovely ladies
remained in trance
To marry this knight
Was their ultimate plan.

Sure!
This knight would marry
If only he can
For at the end of the day
He sleeps with a man.

If frozen in time
Would you stand at my side
Locked in sight
Fingers tangled
With warm heart
In cold world

If trapped in sudden death
Would you find shelter in my arms
Forehead upon yours
With a smile full of love
Accepting our end

If feelings of love would be shared
Would you hold them
Close and dear
With no regrets
No fears

If yes
If yes
If yes
Say yes
To walk the path of life
Till death do is part
