Another Bad Poem Mar 2018
when you are worth
nothing more than a grade
to those
who should love you most
then what are you, really?

are you a man?
are you a boy?
are you a good son?
a good brother?
or just a number?
what are you, really?

what's the point
of trying hard
to please them all
because when you fail,
as you undoubtedly will,
then what are you, really?

a number, some letters
and expectations that grow
faster than the mind or the body
can hope to keep up with
lead to broken dreams
and without dreams,
then what are you, really?

just a rag doll, tossed from
person to person, clinging
desperately, hoping for a glimpse
of appreciation, of wanting, of
love and affection, because without that
then what are you, really?

they say
you must love yourself
before you love others
but when it seems
like nobody else loves you
it's quite impossible
to love yourself

because if they don't love you
then who could?

“How is my work?”, she asked

If graded, 5/10.
You passed.

Happy, she was.

“But there is more to go”, later I added.

“Is there more than to pass?”, voice of  innocence.

A way long.

What if, i didn't find my calling?
Do you love me the way i am?

Neither very attractive,
Nor hardworking.
Neither a sportsman,
Nor a marksman.
Neither an engineer,
Nor a doctor.
Neither a poet,
Nor an artist.
Neither a boon,
Nor a bane.

Do you love me the way i am?

My grades are not upto the mark,
Yet i could be much more than you could ask!

People call me vain,
Passions none to name.

May not fulfill dreams cherished by you,
May not walk on the path shown by you!

Do you love me the way i am?

All what my peers have is better than mine!
For me, unconditional love is just fine!

Oh my dear parents!
Am i not worthy?

Maybe someday I'll find my calling!
Till then, please love me the way i am?
This write is inspired by a teenager, who is under pressure to perform better. Parents try to impose their aspirations on their children...but the child has something else in mind...all five fingers are not equal.. let's learn to accept them the way they are...a person good for nothing, excelling in nothing does have a right to be happy..should not be condemned...

Sometimes we all have our dreams and childish feelings,
I know we do,
I had two where I had the ears and a tail of a Panda,
Now I feel I currently have them,
If I had the ears of a Panda,
If had the tail too,
I must do
What I must do,
If I had the ears of a Panda,
I'd want you to have them too...
Wow! Another April 30, 2013 7th grade poem! I really loved pandas then, and do now.

We sing a song,
And sing a long,
We dance,
And prance,
And go along,
Oh we sing a song,
And sing a long,
We eat,
And beat,
And hurt and make things go wrong,
Oh we sing a song,
And sing a long,
Since bullies are meant for this song.
Another April 30, 2013 old 7th grade upload. Also scrapped lyrics. Maybe I can figure out how to make it work...

Seeking the unseekable,
Falling up,
Melting into solid,
Cloning the uncloneable,
Finding the unfindable,
Doing the undoable,
Living while dead,
I have been impossible.
I remember writing this in 7th grade when I felt that I was living when I could be gone by now. I felt, well, impossible. I wrote this May 1, 2013.

Traffic on foot,
Running to and fro,
Trying to go to a destination,
And get away with procrastination.
Forgot your homework?
Surely you'll turn it in late.
Forgot lunch?
Buy one or starve.
Fall in the halls?
Stay down and wait until it's empty.
Get in trouble but not your fault?
I feel sorry for you,
Just don't welcome death.
Fake illness but get caught?
No help there.
School is no fair.
We just have to stay there.
Help us or we'll be the bullied.
Bullies are no fun.
If you're a bully reading this,
Bulling is wrong.
I made this on May 1, 2013. I was thinking about many negative things I wanted to let out.

Hocus Pocus,
Tattered and out of focus,
You must keep hold of a crocus,
Grab a ***,
In with the lot,
There's a witch that's deep in thought,
Find her cat,
And her hat,
Or get hit with her bat,
Don't touch her broom,
Or you'll end up in a dead room,
Make a boom,
Let the town hear,
For the witch is here,
And the townsfolk cry in fear,
"The witch, the witch",
The townsfolk don't finish a stitch,
Instead they jump in a ditch,
You're her slave,
You better behave,
Or she'll stick you in a dangerous cave,
Hocus Pocus,
Tattered and out of focus,
You must keep hold of a crocus.
This is an older poem of mine that I made on May 2, 2013. I have always thought of making it a song. Maybe someday I will.

**** it,
I'm done.
I can't take this **** anymore
someone is playing a trick on me
it's like the world was made
mean for the purpose of my own personal torture.
Too much suffering for one man,
surely this isn't just
my life was made to rust.
I am deceived by everyone,
those who speak the alien toungue
of hate, ***, and pride
those who aren't alive.
I've been tourmented
I've been ******
False hope given
then driven back down
to suffocate
in an abyss of black ink
as if to make me long the
smell of the deserved air.

To whatever is pulling those
strings:
on behalf of a simple
mortal being who
dosen't know your ugly face:
I will not laugh.
I shall not cry.
But you are dreaming if you think
I'll give up on my dreams.
Numbers are numbers,
and I'm not on a scale.
So come back where you came
cause I'm gonna try
twice as ******* your ***.

I forgive myself of the pain I am,
having always believed I wasn't a man
and though I feel
the darkness rise to conquer
I will always believe
that light is stronger.
I need some air. This is an open window. I posted this a long time ago but needed to rewrite it just to get over some bitter bitter feelings.
