As the shine in the darkened sky
I can't help but to wonder why
Why are we so far apart
Just like the very start

I have spent much time in the clouds
In my head, sorting my belief from my doubts
Disappearing from the present tense
Neverending expanding clouds make sense

In a place of my own
A place I can call home
Sometimes I forget to live
All I end up doing is breathe

I disconnect trying to reach you
I try way too hard, that's the issue
From times I don't try at all
I'm in a paradox, an endless fall

A few things hardly meet
A solar eclipse
A will refusing to retreat
And the pillars in our eyes

I've grown fond
Of the shine from the sun
I've replaced it with a glow
That resonates from your skin so

In the heavens above
Do the stars shine as bright
As the light of your eyes
Or do they somber like the shade of my heart
some food for thoughts :)

In ashen wisps clouds

are moving across the sky --

Far away: the moon.

abraded sky  scabbed
      by winter fluctuation
much uncertainty
of 10/02/25
I love, I love
Yes, I love to love
Like a genius in deep love
Like a fool in sick love
I love like no one ever loves
Like I love watching the doves
Drifting up and down in the sky
Below and above the clouds
Whether the weather is wet or dry
Below and far from the shrouds.

It is not a mistake to love
I don’t love just for Valentine
I love every single day and that’s fine
It is an incredible experience
Coming straight from above
Yet, there’s no obvious difference
Like a genius in sick love
Like a fool in deep love
I love, I love
Yes, I love to love.

Hébert Logerie is the author of several books of poetry.
In the quiet embrace of the vast sky,
A tapestry of white floats gently,
Puffs of vapor, soft as a whisper,
Beneath the sun's golden gaze, they linger.

Mists arise, ethereal and delicate,
Shaping and reshaping, a restless dance,
A blanket of dreams stretched across the blue,
Each fold a story, untold but felt.

Amidst the sky, a billow takes form,
A congregation of thoughts, light and heavy,
Swarming like ideas in the mind's eye,
Connecting, dispersing, then gathering again.

Thunderheads emerge, dark and powerful,
Foreboding yet beautiful in their grandeur,
A nebulous promise of rain to come,
Teasing the earth with a distant echo.

Cumulus clouds drift, sculpted by winds,
Gentle giants, casting shadows below,
They mirror our fleeting moments of joy,
A reminder of time, swiftly passing, yet still.

Each cloud a vessel of possibility,
Carrying whispers from far-off lands,
A gallery of shapes, unique and fleeting,
Chasing the light, forever changing.

In the soft twilight, they blush and fade,
Colors igniting the world in soft hues,
Mundane becomes magical in their presence,
Embracing the stillness of a moment held.

As night falls, they dissolve into dreams,
While stars peek through, twinkling like thoughts,
The clouds' memory lingers in our hearts,
An endless voyage through the infinite sky.
From my lessons in Picadilly's Write the Poem
Vianne Lior Feb 10
A cloud hangs low, still,
pressing on the city’s spine—
does it ever breathe?
Vianne Lior Feb 10
Clouds hide fragile dreams,
waiting for the moon to speak—
the night never tells.
A yearning hand stretches upward,
seeking the untouchable,
longing for the spacious bed—ever white, ever blue.
Looming, seeming in reach,
and yet, from this new hill, seeming farther,
more distant.
Am I truly so far removed from you?
Will a ladder bring me closer?
Should I climb to the roof?
It may cause a panic in the street
as I leap into the ever-blue, ever-white embrace.
I find my peace in places much too high,
but I am no winged creature.
Yet every time I've fallen,
it convinced me I can fly.
The sky is bigger here

Today eve is different
Spring makes me overwhelmed.
Sunset is painting the sky with coral red
Clouds giving touch up with heart shape
Some broken, some full
Overcome the past, present to rule.
A sweet, cold breeze runs through me
Taking away all my worry
Fun and joy, want again to be tension-free boy
A new start, this is the life to enjoy.
Embrace the flaw, the moon smiles
The world is mine, and I am free to fly.
Every person have their favourite season, mine is spring which says it's never too late to start again with positivity.

is this is some kind of nocturnal dance       ?
one to tune the world to whim
  it's spun around our column
you saturate into the night   purple and staining
unrestrained   beaming in your hostility   and  blue as wishes   i approach
rude as great depth  you supper on my motion
scupper me   whilst looking as bleached  as surrender
                                                            or behave
so  i charge after you  inflated  and the moonlight is revealed

moon    mewling and fully realized
now  for illuminated clouds   to have their bellies torn at
the earth charges with gymnastic prat
you go at witchcraft in a pranky manner
girling and ferning your thrift score gown
you drag this disco into the greeting forest
the treating darkness fills in
   like furniture addition
and the beats quicken to encourage

i tail you with athletic mammalian stride
whilst you whip your expressions
                       weaponized   at my pursuit

but  both of us have nature on our side
germing with merit
every hunter    every heat
there's teeth between those tree
and we dance    oscillate  with grins
                              and battling antics
wiving the night music
