Falling for you is like stepping off a cliff with my eyes closed.
I can't see the drop,

But the fear of rejection keeps me cautious.

Sugar cubes get drenched by the rain--
again.

Bedraggled but careless,
You continue to watch them
As if curios in the antique store on a trance lane.

Aggravation makes a chamber in your veins,
What shall the tea be served with?
An insect awake from its slumber watching you,
Pacing back and forth from grass to gravel
Be wary, I'd say--
Keep your wits up-close and within grasp!
You always had the finesse.

The guests won't come until noon, thus,
Go posthaste where they sell butter and Shanghai noodle,
I'll wait for you,
On the doorstep.
The cubes have melting away.

I do not just listen--
I analyze,
because the story might have
a real different ending


I do not just glance--
I observe,
for the view might be different
on the other side


It is not wrong to be careful
on what you should believe in

Yes I'm being cautious,
Given the number of people I have lost  
why shouldn't I be !
I'm not a robot I too feel things.

Do not be fooled, darling:
For his lips
That taste like sweet wine
Will have you addicted
And his ocean blue eyes
Will drown you
Beneath its merciless waves.

Certainly there are moments in life when life seems to be absolutely strange.

The moment it was understood that things are over was the same moment in time when the importance of present moment in time was understood, realized and also accepted.

Shortcoming, limitation of scope with regards to the future and rest of the other things were followed by this understanding in the present moment of time.

Strange seems life,
strange, absolutely strange at times.
Still it’s life and life continues

Better to wait for the right moment in time
Better to be cautious, careful and then carefully take the next step and follow the same.

Unexpected things do happen and keep following in life
Still with all the ups and downs in life,
always it's better to be on the safe side.

Agreed that an uncertain future needs to be ascertained,
but then the present cannot be put at stake for the sake of worries about the future.

No matter what new thing comes across mind
No matter how odd, difficult and troublesome is the obstacle in the present moment of time
Still it’s always possible to remove the odd that comes along the way
The only thing that needs to be there in mind is determination, which
makes everything happen at the right moment.

Always remember
You have got one life, in this one life you have got chances and opportunities.
No one really knows how much or how many.

So be wise,
play safe,
but do take a calculated risk.

Time has played a major role in deciding and ascertaining what’s possible and what’s beyond the present moment in time.

So ascertain the future only when the need of the hour says so,
otherwise continue with what’s going on in mind at the present moment in time.

Strange seems life,
strange, absolutely strange at times.

I let my emotions plague my soul.
I tend to use a tattered heart and tainted words,
watch it convert into poetry. 

Because poetry is not just words of the mind, but a message of being. 
A formation of subconscious memories from one human being to another. 

Poetry allows us to grow, to prosper. 
Sometimes, all you need to hear is a line that makes your heart stop. A reality check that stirs in motivation. 
However, a phrase could stop the heart, let walls break, the earth shake, and tear us into two. 

Poetry is a tool, to be used for better- or for worse- in order to ignite as all one.

I'm cautious to a fault
I've never stared down
The barrel of a gun
I've never held
A blade to my wrists
But I've thought about it.

I was never a girl of extremes
I've never drunk
Poison until I passed out
I've never let my lips
Inhale ash
But I contemplated it.

I was never careless
After a few painful infatuations
And unrequited feelings
I fell in love
And this time, he loves me too
But somehow my heart is still fractured.

I cannot help but wonder
How someone so sensible
So careful
Can still be so messed up
When they have done nothing but
Tread without fault.

The thoughts and feelings
That I do my best to ignore
Stifle me, suffocate me
Even overwhelm me, sometimes
I'm cautious to a fault
And it terrifies me.
