when clouds
are small
patches of
these quilted
cumuli only
high pressure
from the
seven seas
if this
summer breeze
wilts with
a shower
then their
dusky hours
till dawn
sequestered thus
in alabaster
a note on caution

I love the arch of your back
It is a golden archway of light
The bridgeway to Heaven,
If Heaven could even compare

On the lookout for a leeway
I'd cross that bridge in a blink
As love surpasses blasphemy
And my feelings for you surpass love
Clearing out my drafts

To you my thoughts do fly,
to carry these words
in the blink of an eye.
what words and thoughts you may ask,
well I hadn't thought of that when I began this task.
I only wish for you to know,
my feeling will remain the same
for it matters not how many time you go.

It's more
than just
a blink
when
I dream
in between

.
The blink of an eye would have missed it,
a brief glimpse of pure beauty
and then it was gone.
The passing of a gloriously sublime moment.
Darkness drew its curtain around
and it was forever vanished.
Folded away and filed eternal
into the vaults of history passed.
Catalogued and captured in an instant
from within the blink of an eye.

The afternoon sun lights the mountains,
reflecting the sheen of the forest
in a riot of greens and yellows.
Bathing the vista of sight in a scene of serenity.
The air, still and warm, echoes a kind of magick,
seeking to manifest.
An event approaching with certainty
yet waiting for the correct second in time.
And the day hangs
like a cloak on a winters morn,
unmoving and timeless.
Anticipation drips from the instant,
taking its ease at the imminent
moment of intensity.
A brief glimpse of pure beauty,
and the blink of an eye would have missed it.

Blink blink
Eyelashes flutter
Running water
Let me shrink

Alone, peaceful, quiet
Soaking
Bubbles popping
Calm, my body met

Paper pages
Soul sleeping
Faucet weeping
Erasing edges
I had a free afternoon. So I treated myself to a bath bomb. I hadn't been able to relax in a long time.

To my gentle eyed girl,

When it comes the time to draw your blade,
I swear not to blink,
And not to blame.
I will drive alone like it were in the beginning,
I will remember to greet you
Just as the living.
this lays open to interpretation, whether it literal or not.

Don’t Blink …by Jessie

Don’t blink your eyes, the world changes

Look away and fate rearranges

All the things you thought would be, from now until eternity

Were nothing more than silly dreams, fate-playing games or so it seems

The jokes on me, so have a laugh; who cares about the aftermath

Take it form the one who knows, this is how the story goes

Never try to outwit fate, for when you do, it’s much too late

Don’t blink you eyes, the world changes

Look away and fate rearranges

The one’s you’ve hurt, have felt the pain, and what is it you think you’ve gained?

Was it pre-written in the book of life, that those around you feel the strife?

All the things you thought you knew, all the experiences from which you drew?

Don’t blink your eyes, the world changes

Look away and fate rearranges
