at your own pace you fill yourself up with good thoughts, a gradual build leading to a much fuller space
Your unique essence being released into the world
And as you feel the returned good vibrations of those you touch on your journey, you become aware of what filling yourself does for others but also for you
A high of all highs with views you never knew existed
Flowing with life and it's exciting twists and turns
You appreciate just where you are and how far you have come

As I walked through the apartment door,

I did not expect anything more but comic books and video games

Scattered on the floor.

I felt like I was at a comic book store back down south.

Batman, Superman and the green guy too.

Posted on the walls for all who entered to view.

But I had no idea who the hell they were.

All I knew was that they had powers,

Till Brett gave me the rundown for about an hour.

Batman is a super-rich guy, with a fly ride.

His parents were murdered by an evil guy.

So Batman goes around knocking bad guys out.

For he won’t **** you because of how his parents went out.

Then we have Superman over to my left,

A very fast man, with an “S” on his chest.

He gets dressed in phone booths, then fly’s to save the day.

He’s got x-ray vision, yep right through your shirt.

If you turn around then it’s your skirt.

Then we have my favorite one of them all,

Green lantern with his ring of power.

Making fists and gripping things.

Anything is possible when he’s wearing that ring.

So this is all I got out of my superhero lesson,

They are all really good guys with their own little blessing.

What is this feeling
Of satisfaction, of comfort, of content?
What is this feeling
Of peace, joy, ease
A sense of balance

The ambience. My state of mind
All revolving simultaneously in harmony
Like a cool Summer's breeze in the afternoon
Like the spring air early morning
The stillness
The tranquillity
Right before Birds take flight and the City wakes.

The tiniest speck of dust
The first drop of rain
My senses magnified
My consciousness awakens
The allure and artistry in every living thing
The vastness is breathtaking but intimidating

To cast my eyes open to even a speck of
such magnificence, such splendour
leaves me high on ecstasy
How do I encompass the richness of the gardens
The gardens which no words can do justice

It is with you my Lord
Your mercy, Your blessings, Your will
Your majesty, Your Love, Your guidance
Only you.

Coupled with determination,
Collect my thoughts like condensation,

And teach  him the art of empathy

His awards are daily blessings as a treat
I don’t have to worry about a days paid
It is praise all the way
I can have all the overtime I want
My responsibility of salvation, glory and holiness
My experience is my witness
I don’t have to worry about being fired
It’s Jesus that helps me to stay inspired
If I do something that isn’t right
God doesn’t get all up tight
It’s divine understanding in plain sight
No money needed to satisfy
It’s guidance from God in every try
I can pray all hours of the day
It’s a permanent job here to stay

Energy applied with plenty of endurance

His teachings are what I want to explore
His praise and Mercy are what I applaud.

2. Starving people in Africa who have nothing that even resembles a stable govermnent to keep them safe and fed and alive. 

3. Couples going through divorce or recovering from divorce, and their poor children. =\

4. Drug addicts living on the streets without a family or a hope. 

5. Women and children caught up in human trafficking and slavery who have no one to save them. 

6. Would-be-mothers who cannot have children. This is heartbreaking for many women. 

7. Children abused by their own parents who then have to go through foster care and withstand the constant reminder that they do not have parents that love and care for them. 

8. People who have no hope and who believe a bottle of pills is the only way to take away their pain. Life is never a curse, and it is not one's responsibility to take when it becomes unbearable. 

9. Fathers who can't find a job in our economy and who feel like a failure because they can't support their family's needs. 

10. People who sit in a church and believe they are being good enough to go to heaven, when they've never heard the true gospel spoken to them before. 




1. And most importantly...the great number of individuals who have not heard and those who have rejected the Good News of Jesus Christ. It's nothing that I have done that makes me any different than them, but only the grace of God that I took hold of. I won't stand by while my fellow man lives on less than I do every day. I am blessed with food, a better government than many in this world, and parents who love each other and the Lord. I have a life of hope that sustains me better than drugs, a life worth living, and the financial support that only God could supply. And I have a church that preaches the gospel each Sunday and reminds me of how much I need Him. 

Lord, never let me forget Your many blessings. Self-pity, worry, and depression keep me from my true potential as Your daughter and servant. Show me how to share my blessings with others, so that I can spread Your Word to everyone I meet.
