Everything is made up of the tiniest particles and if you think about it,
we're not that big compared to a lot of things out there in the universe and
I don't know about you, but sometimes I feel everything crashing down on top of me,
I feel the weight of being such a tiny speck in such a great big world closing in around me and straining my very bones and when you get to the point of lying lifeless on your bedroom floor or screaming and cursing at the moon with every breath stored up in your little lungs, you start to think you could never feel much worse but I'll tell you something: there is something small but great
inside your very core and just a little Faith, it doesn't have to be any bigger than a mustard seed,
well that can go a long way and if you look hard enough, if you really try,
Darling find that God Atom inside of you; I promise you'll get by.
This one is for every little broken heart smashed by someone they looked at like they were a whole world. This is for every boy and girl who feel like they’ll just get hurt if they ever speak an honest word. This is a poem for every loved one of mine who has had one too many hard times. This is for the girls who know what it’s like to be grabbed forcefully and shaken. Who’ve had electric fear forced into their frail little bones, and the flower of their soul taken. This is for the boys who had their hearts stolen in one faraway glance, never to be seen again. This is for the children who crave constantly for parental approval but can’t ever seem to win. And not most importantly, but importantly, this is for me; oh God, help me find my way home again.

For a creation was devised of the purest and simplest elements in life
When the calming and smooth sensation of water caressed your bones, it carved canals of strength along the way
Your skin crawled and crept past your defined chin to bind with its lover
and when the tendon reached the muscle, it fused in an unbreakable relationship
Baby, the sight of your eyes shatters the crystallization of the finest glass
And your voice pierces the night fog leaving a path for only you
The kindness of your heart poured into the rivers to feed oxygen to all of those who depended on it
Your body contains the same carbon that creates sparkling diamonds
The majority of the oxygen is the same element creating tornadoes, or when fused to hydrogen to make a hurricane
Do you see how powerful you are made?
Your soft lips are the same lips that can produce sound in an empty canyon
Your bones are the base of your embrace when you sweep me off my feet
That mind is the exact replica that discovered how to survive the times that were a bigger struggle than planned
Despite all of these acts, how simple or extravagant
You are the perfect arrangement of atoms that hold my hand when I am scared to carry on alone
And the same arrangement of atoms that pull me close and kiss my lips
One might say these actions, however small, have a stronger effect than any hurricane, or tornado, or diamond
For you are a creation devised of the purest and simplest elements in life
And you are completely mine

collecting my thoughts

i was caught up in

a beehive of an evening

infested with dreams

drunken feelings

fixed catalysts

kick starting the slow burn

down to our cells

chemicals mixing

+ im overreacting

as i imagine half my life

hanging from the ceiling

WE'RE ALL JUST CHEMICALS MIXING

I believe that the universe
placed your atoms and molecules
near mine so that we could meet.
so that you could teach me how to love,
and what love even was in the first place.
and then once you did that, the universe
took you away again.
and I'm okay with that now.
I haven't written a poem in so long; that makes me sad. Anyways, the song for this is "one" by ed sheeran. for no particular reason.

It is a terrible thing this flesh that wears us
Being makes us
Slaves to atomic thought
Particles possessing some consciousness
Dreams stream from the undermind
To undermine
All we thought we were

From the sub-atomic to the atomic
On into the protein patterns of our thoughts
Neurotransmitters flood and fulminate
Filling our minds with strange things
Receptor receiving impressions
Leave strangers believing instincts

Animals evolved to understand but ignore
The gifts we have acquired from millions years and more
A talent for analyzing then adjusting ourselves
And after the fact constructing a model
That makes continuity out of all of the chaos

Now most take it for granted
Become carbon copies cut in granite
They give in to the impulses
And waste said potential on fulfilling the illusion

The desire to be grander is subsumed
By their fear of non-existence
Which is what they become
Not after death
But as cogs in the machine
In a factory of robotic human beings

Once upon a time, there was no f'n time!
We think Mr.Time is a creep
He wouldn't get no sleep
Follows us like a shadow
But he was only hired some 14 billion years ago!!
Along with his angry twin Space
Mr.Space wasn't bothered either
No action, No drama and No matter
Until a BANG occurred! And Disrupted his peace
Mr.Space called the police Then made up strict rules
He made up four directions for the ****** atoms to move
While Mr.Time Made it simple and clear
He said "Only one way If you want to pass here!"
Everyone agreed on the terms that the twins made
Except Father Universe Said "Time was no son of mine!!"
He went on to ramble "Time doesn't control me, i have the right to be free!" "I am my own entity!"
Hope you people like it and learn some science from it! :)
Science is fun! :)

When your atoms collided
Like leaves in the rain
Did they ever suspect that they’d create
Something so beautiful and happy and right?
Before though, they were strength and wisdom and might.

They've not changed or altered, only swapped places
To form something so perfect, nothing needs changing.
They've been stars and food and other people alike,
But when they formed you, it was nothing but right.

Your atoms collided in a beautiful way
To form your fingers, your toes, your face.

When I touch your face and to look into those eyes,
I just see more perfection residing inside.

So when I tell you I love you and that you’re perfect
Look at the leaves in the rain
And believe it.
Something a bit more cheery than the other two. Dedicated to anyone who thinks themselves as anything other than perfect.

Don't get cocky. You're just a coincidence. You're a mash of atoms. You are not special.
You're another group of cells that wanders until snatched by death. You will not leave anything. You do not matter.

You could be the president, you could be a star- you could have an army. It does not matter. You do not matter. You will not leave anything. You cannot, and that is for the best.
You are so, so small. You cannot effect anything. You are just a droplet. A droplet of atoms & brain cells, that goes around telling others they're a special droplet, when you're lying.
But, it's okay. What's a lie in a world of pretentious little atoms sipping tea & reading books?
Make of it what you please, little being. You're no special snowflake.
You are nothing.
Sorry. It's the truth.

I feel as if I am disintegrating,
my atoms all wriggling out of place.
But one look at you,
and suddenly they all realign,
back in their rightful space.
