A reflection is shadow made of light.
I look at myself. “Who you trying to fight?“

You know he’s crooked cause his head is cocked.
It’s rebellion.
His past is in flames, he’s a hellion.
That’s why he don’t hear what they be tellin him.
He hears his own music.
He let’s it in, he grooves it.
It flows through his body when he moves it.
You can always be happy if you choose it.
Listen to the dope beats
and keep a couple close to your throne seat.
It’s emotion in wave form. There is no rawer art
or rarer reward. For if you truly listen
changes will start in the you-est you.

I was shocked too but I swear, it’s true.
All sorts of things will change you, if you let them.

You claim to be open-minded, yet you set boundaries which uninspire
You’re judgmental and don’t love people who are different, you only love the “different” that you choose
Your life doesn’t allow for true freedom, only freedom within a limit of constraints that were set by others, a freedom that won’t last forever
Your alternative lifestyle is draining and anything conservative is to be shunned
There is no balance
And one day you’ll find that between the laughter, the celebration, and overall dulling of the senses, that you are unhappy
And tired of being free

I want to climb inside to feel your beating heart.
Let me show you another way to love that will bring us closer.
If you say no this may pull us a part.
Let me shoulder my way into you, to become your center.

Shouldering my way into the bunny's burrow,
Shifting my way through the darkness to fill what's hollow.

Something wet and warm is stretching over me.
It welcomes and embraces my entire body.

This is not even half as high as heaven,
But it is as close as spirit.

Many people could not get in,
But I am the perfect fit.

Up to my arms in you,

I am a quater of the way there.

Up to my waist in you,

I am half way there

Up to my feet in you,

I am nearly there.

All the way in now,

All the way...

he told his partners

unwitting souls
commanded by his

self assured

unwillingness 2 accept
anything but compliance

in his self assurance
many were led into his lair

some to escape
never the being they’d been

to flee
flogged into further submission
and eternal darkness

pleasure as pain
he told them

the once innocents

He was born.
He ate.
He pooped.
He slept.
Then he died.
