Goodbye to the oven that I learned to bake my first dish.
Goodbye to the old stairs leading up to the dark scary attic.
Goodybye to the shed that held my first and last bike.
Goodbye to the swing set that was used as a pirate ship.
Goodbye old house for I had many memories but it is time that I move on and adventure new places.

a thrill, always will be
how this happened, still enchanting to me
i'm at ease, i am vulnerable-
i am at home.
you're both comfort and adventure,
like Bogota to Rome.

I can't tell you how much you occupy my thoughts
so I'll put everything in writing.
you're the yin to my yang,
a lot of people won't get this, but darling you're my
wai ying.

so as I'm writing, trying to add more
please know that my heart is full.
I've nothing more to ask for, except for maybe getting
another lifetime with you.
you're a thrill, always will be
you have the whole of me,
my babu.
Hey guys! I haven't written in a while but this is something personal and dear to me. Anyways, hope everyone's safe and doing well amidst this pandemic!
Life is a grand adventure
And adventures come with tests
You won’t succeed with every try
You just need to do your best

With adventure comes perspective
And relationships - and skill
Yes, the things that really matter
When you act with power and will

Prosperity is character
When challenging times arrive
So brace up and hold steadfast
Act with confidence - and thrive

I like thinking about life as an adventure, rather than as a trial.  Recently we had a lot of great messages of hope from our church, which I could sum up as "Stay Strong, Keep Going".  So I put some of these into my own words, wrapped up in the heading of "Adventure".

How are you changing in these difficult times?  Read through this poem and embrace the adventure.

We've sailed cerulean seas to pastel shores,
Known only to the glorious few,
We have disembarked, ready to explore,
As our lone ship waits slumbering in view
of the glorious bay. Light paints daybreak
across the sky. We see the rising sun
through imagined jungle—and hesitate:
The image lingers, but it must be done,
Eyes close. Toward the interior we turn
remembering, and hoping to return.
I'm going away from home

Flying in a mystic loon.
Passing through endless loops.
Gathering what the world had taken from me. I
May it feels an end And nothing left in the clock of the sand High above the endless sky With huge grief n cries No one left with me I'm lonely and alone Fighting with the blazing sun and freezing moon.

No matter its dessert or hill

No matter how death feels

I'm here to make that evil Neil

But no one's here to make me heal.

But

I'm not a small river

I'm who which make the devil shiver

Everything I lost

, I will take it back at any cost

I know I'll get my vengeance soon

But for now

I'm fighting with the blazing sun and freezing moon

Wanna rescue earthworms
All about on the drive?
Throw ‘em back on the grass
To try keep them alive

The rain has come down hard
And flooded their worm home
Beneath where they all live
We can’t leave them alone

Before the hot sun welds
Them all to the cement
And long before their last
Squirm and wriggle are spent

Hurry and grab a twig
We’ll save ‘em, you and I
We won’t get them all
But be sure we will try
I wait for this weird blue box to land on my yard,
piloted by an alien who invites me to travel far

because I feel so lonely and depressed on Earth
that I make dreams out of my scars
doctor who is my favorite tv show and it just gives me so much happiness, oh I really wish I could travel far with the doctor to see beautiful things and live great adventures

Green nights dusted newly fallen leaves
tumbling about aimlessly
in the mid-autumn breeze
creating pathways to the unknown

Deeper woods trailed sea salt skies
Smells linger of
forgotten books, hollowed trees
midnights up past sunrise

Stars twinkled above
A guiding path for all
of adventure that awaits
In the mountains to the coast
