Why do I want?
Why do I need?
When did longing plant its seed?
Delusion's dreams creating scenes
Is this what it is to become a fiend?
Still I want
Still I need
A tree has sprouted from that seed
Strong the branches
Vibrant the leaves
No more longing I now believe
When we search we never find
What we're looking for is all in our mind

To someday obtain what I want...

Does power have a physical form?
Seen through eye of a storm
I want to rip at reality till its torn
Mind elevates word is born
Vestige of message vibrations seek
Strength in understanding
We all start out as weak
Emotions go from joy to pain feel the peak
Solutions unveiled to what we seek
Tongue ignites spit verbal fire

Feeding..Forcing..running its course in
Married today tomorrow divorcing
A solider must **** with no remorsing?
Fight silly wars governments are forcing
Like Cattle hear the rattle of the bell
Set on a path straight to hell
Barbeque babies whatever they can sell
Sad are the tales we never tell

I have been a fool, made plenty of mistakes
Even had a few foundation breaks
Through it all I've filled the cracks
My heart has spackle from all the attacks
Unconditional love I now understand
It has made me become a better man
Though I have never felt my fathers love
I'm not the one to push and shove
I became strong cause he said I was weak
Now I'm standing here at my poets peak
Trying to make sense and understand
How did I become this poetic man?
A broken boy just like a toy
I must fix you, so I can deploy
All the wisdom and knowledge through life I gained
To stop the vicious cycle and break the chain
For now...I am a father too...
I can feel you now in the things I do
I stop the wrong and do what's right
To allow myself to sleep at night
You had no father! I understand....
You had no idea how to create a man
Its OK, from all your pain I still learned...
To be the best father from my pain I earned
As I sit back and watch my daughters climb
They are gracefully crossing many finish lines
Filling up my heart, A Papa So Proud

I rebuilt myself from all the damage done
Now I bloom like a flower in the morning sun
Becoming exactly what I was created to be

I keep going under so I hold my breath
Should I just die? My pain will be gone
You have made me to weak to carry on
What is this power you have over me?
I'm blinded by emotions I can no longer see
You are the past I need a new dawn
Just saying these words is making me strong
My love is special no one will take
What is within me the love I make
For me to give my true love will feel
From my heart something that is real
You don't deserve me our time is done

My heart is like a Phoenix It dies everyday
Reborn to give love in its own special way
Ignition from within my vessel catches aflame
Incinerating all my worries and emotional stains
Memories smoke swirling in the summer breeze
A corpse crumbling down on hands and knees
Ashes and bone litter the ground
In a moment of silence no soul can be found
Emerging from the ashes a flaming soul
A fire illuminating eternities black hole
Through loss and despair what is gained?
People don't grow without feeling life's pain
Love is a gamble from the very start
A risk I'm willing to take with my Phoenix Heart...

Life can be bitter sometimes swings low
Without pain we would never grow
Cliche sayings sound all the same
Words do little to ease the pain
Looking for things we will never find
Frustration builds we lose our mind
Burnt out candle lost its flame
Find a spark to light our brain
A precious pearl a treasure to see
Rough as you are you are diamond to me
Hold your smile let it light the way
Strength you gain will pay off some day
In pains transformation the better we become
To reach our destination in the Days to Come..

Once in a Blue Moon I think of you
That isn't true every Moon I do
In the stars I see your face
I close my eyes share your space
Never far always here
In my dreams you appear
Become a man discover love
Search for truth hovers above
On a journey far within
We find each other begin again
Midnight kisses caught in memories swoon
Souls waltz forever under Blue Moon..

Wake up..Start my day

Martin Luther King Jr's plight should be in everyone's mind
He had dream the advancement of all
Through Peace and Intelligence
Not building new walls
Battles begin as old ones end
It all comes down to the message we send
Mental pollution hides the solutions
We imprison each other create institutions
Really?
You think that is the answer?
Hmm wonder why there is no cure for cancer
We are stuck..too many situations ****
Political systems always become corrupt
How many times do we have to see it in history?
Repeatedly failing there is no mystery
I apologize if you get riled up
This is for the thirsty go grab your cup
How will we do it?
Where do we start?
As an instigator I've done my part..

Bonds can't be severed
We have begun a journey long to be endeavored
