Silence my darling
I'll keep you safe
hide you away
You won't have to show your face

I'll wipe away your tears
Using the back of my hand
Its okay love
Things dont always go as planned

I'll hold you tightly
Within my arms
Its warm and gentle
I'll wait till your calm

A gentle kiss on your head
As you drift off to sleep
Enough crying for the day
Its okay to be weak

This happens again
Over the weeks
We sit together with ice cream
As you continue to weep

You slowly move on
Growing strong and independent
Then you leave me
As you are no longer dependent

Go have your fun
Let lose and party
Do everything you wanted to
Be upbeat and quirky

Do as you will
Put on your brave face
Cause I know you will always
Return into my embrace

The ones I try
so desperately to please
Are the same ones
That have disappointed me

Why am I still seeking
Approval and love
In places where
I will never be enough

You were her muse
Every time she picked up her pen
Undoubtedly she knew
Her clumsy heart fell again

I play my favorite song and i grab my pen
I wanna empty my chaotic head

Words frisk around words. Thoughts scream to be heard. Memories weep to be replayed. Dreams stir to be noticed.

So many colors to choose from. So many blues, so many reds. Too much black and too much purple. But my page remains as white as snow.

The contradictions are embedded everywhere. I cannot tell where the storm is headed anymore. What is it that im feeling, and what is it that im forcing myself to feel?

I lean back and i let the lopsided waves of my head wash away all the pretty words i had summoned. And once again, i am left with incomplete sentences and empty words.

First off, a declaration; I love you!
There’s surely no mistake.
And if you’ll be my lover, a promise;
Our lives will be filled with tea and cake.

There is nothing I wouldn't give you.
Just take it! My heart, my mind, my soul.
My money, I’ll give it. Take the credit card too!
Your happiness is my only true goal.

But more than that; I’ll give you laughter.
We will be laughing all the time.
And when I make you fantastic dinners,
Our laughs will mix with wine.

Oh, I know I can make you happy!
Let me love you, for goodness sake!
And if you’ll be my lover, my dear,
Our lives will be filled with tea and cake.

i really wanna try
i really really do
i just can't face the fact
of disappointing you

i don't know what it is
that makes me just not go
there's always something else
that screws up my entire flow

the face of disappointment
strikes straight through my heart
it takes away my energy
and tears my hope apart

i don't want that again
not for the seventh time
a disappointment for every day of the week
and sadness will be mine

the value of my soul
will fall below zero
and will become unreachable
by any given hero

and darkness will fall upon my diminished sun
then i will remain the disappointing one
and as i lay in this deep and heartless place
i am once again dead upon your disappointed face

I loved the color of your eyes
How they sparkled in the night
We used to sneak out and meet
Guided by a flashlight
We shared secrets and stories
Underneath the silver moon
I miss those days of innocence
But now our love has met it's doom
This came to mind while writing a story

Scratches on your back
My fingers in your hair
Body to body
Laying bare

My head on your chest
Your breath in my ear
Hands on my thighs
Your intentions quite clear

***** thoughts
Wandering lips
Shallow breaths
Teasing fingertips

Take me to the edge
******* undone
Cuddled up again
But we’ve only just begun
