In the early mornings
when the sun and the window blinds beam
on my skin like zebra prints

who eagerly tries to devour my being
until I awake covered in sweat
from the chase of her hunger
I escaped from my dreams.

I admit, that woman you so desired when you were with me, is a divine creation.
I compared myself to her down to the fine angles of her nose tip. I do not have her singing voice and I lack the thousands of fans on my following. I do not have the ****** comments or heartbeats and kisses under my pictures that would make me look more desirable. The excitement you must have felt when she toyed with you at those midnight hours in your media within a media within a media.... How quickly she dove into your imagination of possibility. I should've let her have you sooner after walking into her play pen to find you fiddled like a toy doll in her collection.

I didn’t need a home.
I camped in her ground.
I bathed in her love.
I slept in her sound.

You never wanted to be
The pages in my book
You just wanted to be the bookmark
Conveniently placing yourself
From one book
To the next.

I waited in time
And time was not kind
It asked me to find
My whole heart and my mind
I layed on my bed

It said to collect whole self and my doubt
I layed on the couch
And the couch was a grouch
So I sat in my car

Hit a tree, I was dead.

The lie is the outer part of the fruit
covered in thick layer

Hello contemplation
What side shall I choose today
The Left tells me I'm Right

As I stand in the two faces of decision
Body split in symmetry folded equally in precision
And all that's Left is choosing what feels
  Right in my perception

The wind and the rain go insane
And grind up the earths masses
Spitting out the rocks and minerals
that get in their way
After they've teamed up in their insanity
And blended the earth into
Fine grinned salt and pepper sands
I lay a towel over their creation
Sinking my feet in and gazing in awe
At the art of their divine mess
Pouring from my hands

Her soul had escaped from me
She no longer held her color
She shriveled in darkness
****** over as if she waited
for someone to love her
And the water dripped over her corpse
As her dry leaves fell onto the soil
I hated myself right then
My blood began to boil
Everyday I visited where she rested
Feeling sick as the guilt had manifested
But I refused to fill in the gaps of her figure
And one day she awoke
from her zombie state
Turns out her roots soaked
in my tears to hydrate
And I was left astounded
As she blossomed into her second life
As in to tell me "Look at me *******, look at me so grounded"
And at that moment I remembered how breathtaking she was to me
Just like the day I found her.

Why pretend
When your heart won't mend
Why lie a simple smile
When you know it's been a while
Why pray on your knees
For a love that will tease
For a heart that will break
For a life that will take
In a happiness we will fake
To make it through the day....
Just fine.

A flower does not beg to blossom

The teapot awoke to find herself
Shattered on the floor
Looking up to see the enemy of plates

With an angry spout
she bulldozed the table
And down came the plates trying to catch
Themselves but weren't able
And all brushed up against the broom
Remaining pieces of themselves
scattered across the room
Tossed in the darkness of doom
To find themselves in the outcome of hate
And in turn regret their decisions
When it's far too late.

How I used to crawl under your sheets
To find those toes wiggling free
And those legs like long trees
With echoes of giggles you would plea
To have me climb my way up
From your ticklish roots
To your savoring apples

You with those Eiffel Tower legs and your porcelain backbones.
You with the stargazed eyes that look at me like I'm made of wonder.
I invite you to relax with me tonight, to get out of those knee-deep graves.
You will not find my heart buried there.
I admire your dedication but when I told you my heart was in hell,
I meant I was the only one
who can bring it back.

She was different from the rest
She was a furnace
Different from the plastic girls
I used to date
She was true to who she was
She melted the fake to the floor
If you could withstand her heat
She would sharpen you like a sword
So blacksmith I became and with her fire
She engulfed me in love into her flame

There she stood in the junction
of the earth and sky
watching the horizon
that overcame the night
And in its presence,
the silhouettes of life

She looked back at the shadows

The offing of the sea now called her name
The consequences of night
were now overcome obstacles

In the safe boundary of day
