I am floating
in an ocean of
Silence.

Words -
solitary waves
occasionally passing by

Caressing
my skinny mind
ever so gently,

I almost forget
I still
Exist.

An exhale to rid the conscious of deliberation and doubt,
to cleanse the body from worry and anxiety,
to center the soul to its origins,
a moment to bask in solitude;
a solo journey through life and it's many triumphs.

one day i got tired of swimming
and let the sea devour me
my feet floating
timid
expecting floor below
i realized there was no rock bottom
before the waves turned cold
water entering my lungs
like a kiss not given permission
hands on my body like it was given
to someone who didn't know how to listen
feet being pulled towards a depth that had no meaning
no indication of seaweed
just empty space so full it felt freeing
learning to breathe while suffocating
is something you don't learn until needed
friend once pushed away is greeted
desperation gets you places when you need it
being still will make your mind run away
another cold and empty day
you can no longer feel the waves
until a shark comes along
mind in check
body moves
waves are crashing down on you
and it all feels like a fever dream
or so it seems
until you're onto shore
cough up the water
cause you don't need it anymore
and from that day
you pray that you
will never find your way back
to the ocean

She danced to the rumbles of the waves,
Her waist meandered to the roars of the waters,
She whistled to the sounds of sea gulls,
And nodded to the rasps of baby *****,
She set her body loose,
On fire she rode her highs,
Came to a mind shattering rush,
Toe curling end,
As her spirit left her body,
And all reason left her mind.

In The Night I Stare At The Waves
Wonder If They're Calling me
And The Breath of the Wind, Bellowing
I Let It Know I'm Listening

A Thousand Stars Erupt To Life
My Heart Beats Faster Every Time
As The Blood Comes Rushing In
The Blood Comes Rushing In

All The Time It Hurts To Fight,
But Against The Coast I'm Glistening,
The Chill Like Silk Against My Skin,
I Breathe It In and I'm Home Again
I live in a series of moments, that feel like a photograph.
Tonight was wonderful.

I visited you today,
felt you crunch against my toes,
smelt you from a mile away,
heard you in your throes.

You covered me in wet kisses,
as I languished in your swell,
you promised me an ocean,
one you knew so well.

I took you in my mouth,
let you spill down my chin,
and as I walked away, I smiled,
knowing I could still taste you on my skin.

Every single dark ***** piece of myself
I’ve collected
I have polished and shined
Sharpened them into wicked edges
And with blood red teeth and tongue
I dare you to do your worst

What I mean is

I’m on my knees
but this time it’s exactly where I want to be
As I plead for you to just take gently
But take it all
when you leave
I don’t want there to be any pieces left
to put myself together again

Harboring heretics horizontally, hidden behind hinged windows
Like a wry grin swearing a sinister scowl doesn’t wait within
Lovebirds and lust bugs, twisted and mixed like distorted pixels
Cruise missiles carefully catalogue the sights
Before anchoring you in the port of your designated afterlife
Fickle fragments of frayed remembrance
Languished and lost to the ages
Like pages of parchment that anoint your claims baseless
Cynicism seems to have become contagious
Live from the basement,
Full of sunken ships and rusty cages.
