Skylar Keith Nov 2017
Dark clouds drift overhead
I am looking up
You are looking down
We should be looking ahead

For your sake
For my sake
Four our sakes

I look down
You look up
We make eye contact
Before turning away again

Here we are again
I guess you can hear the violence within in my silence
I don't hear anything from you

Maybe I'm deaf
Maybe I stopped listening to others
Who knows

I don't want to let go
Yet here I am
Thinking and thinking

Looking down at the red thread
Holding the scissors in my hand
Unsure of what to do
I don't know what to do
Mane Omsy Nov 2017
There is too much depth
into their hearts
Is this a punishment
or a test?
Too much problems
at a time
Is it all from the ones
Who ruined second chances
Is it because of us
Letting them walk free?
Thought bringing justice
Might lighten the depth
Instead
Their hearts hardened
Without practice of fear
Instead
They put fear in ours
Afraid to walk freely
Criminals shall not be set free just because they served their time in prison. they must be investigated for future actions.

I want to be there for others who need me.
But I am barely there for me and when myself shouts for my embrace, I kiss it with violence.
Self destruction
Mane Omsy Nov 2017
Told he was just a kid
But it didn’t feel the same
When they heard his name
Shot a bullet in his head

They came to make a change
This is how the system works
Said by covering up the rage
Unspoken story surely hurts

The machines fired crying
Don’t sir, don’t
Helpless merciless fate
Triggers hated those hands
The sad reality of the world is that official protections are also creating violent covered up stories that a good heart can't bear. Prayers to the victims of U.S. military invasions and Other army conflict victims.

Leave him leave him !!
I yelled time and time again
Yet you would always defend him

He's toxic!!! How can you not see it

How he
Isolates
You from friends and family

How he cages you up in this God forsaken house

Never aloud to leave
Locked up never free

Leave leave I said! time and time again

Yet for him you would always defend

He loves me you said !!

I warned you there was a day that you would not be able to defend yourself ...

And that day came when that monster snaped

And he pummeled you blue and black

Leave him leave I said!

But it's too late you're already dead.

crimson blood
flowing through the gutter
white cloth
folded in two
half-covered body
bruised eye
swollen lip
broken rib
missing tooth
pale skin
strands of hair
scattered on the floor
scent of flesh
lingers in thin air
silence.

droplets of water
falling from the patched roof
little creatures
squealing, screeching
over a piece of bread
ragged children
slumped on the corner
they call her mother
tired eyes
fixed on the walls
in deep thought
tears unuttered
silence.

red carpet
laid along the aisle
floral-filled rows
people dressed in pastel
empty the halls
one by one
man in suit and tie
golden ring held in hand
a letter on the other
words scrambled on sheets of paper
but all he could see is “Sorry.”
church doors shut
silence.

pen and paper
half-empty cup
ten pages of enigma
blank spaces and question marks
staring on the floor
in search of an answer
trying to recall
a missing chapter
clock strikes nine
time is up
silence.

red shoes
cracked heel
a woman
folded in the shade
broken
or roughly interrupted

it was a caress
it was a kiss
it was a hug
it was love
it's a punch
it's a grin
it's scary
it’s infected love
my blind love
your sick love
it was air and light
it's metal flavor in my mouth
kicks in my belly
vomited words
our guilty love
hypnotic poison

yes
you can!
**** me.
**** me !
but
before
my eyes close
in the eternal darkness!
please!
line to me
I need the darkness in your eyes
please !
give me
a last beautiful oblivion!

I lie
motionless
cold dirt  above me
badly thrown with the ****
wet
by tears of those who loved me
your tears
your guilty love
there’s no more light
for me cold corpse
a flower into my hand
withered
food for worms
my end
your          END

                                       you, interrupted
                                          interrupted.
                                            your skin
                                            your eyes
                                           your heart
                                                off.
                                             un-love
                                          your tyrant
                                        too much love
                                          your mate
                                          closed eyes
                                            my fault
                                              hush
                                           my useless
                                             silent cry
no more
                                                       I wait
                                                       I wait
                                                       I wait
                                                       then
                                                       I die
A faint scent, that of a

wetted perfume, arises from the

body that’s writing there

in a white enameled bathtub

a body shuffled by the sub

way– a pen in hand

not using another purple hand

soap. It ponders on the people’s

purple perfume lathered on their faces

“Smile good, else we’re all ashes”

Wet hair, naked *******

all seen on T.V and billboards

Silence– rarely heard in between

the pen’s strokes. Hands between thighs

purple faces buried there

in a white enameled bathtub.

Water drained, in the middle, drenched bills

Cover up the laughed at body of the economy

Feed her with Monsanto and let her hear Trumpets.

A faint scent arises from the American

Body that’s… drowning there

a silky hand of… blue ribbons of… politics

gripping at her panicked throat!
