For what is life

But a series of convoluted steps each interconnected with the finest intricacy of a spider's web.

What does one do if they step off these paths
or find their strings crossed?

What do they think when they look to their left
just to see another web perfectly whole?

Delicate

Symmetrical

Beautiful

Then they look to their own and can't help but see the left side is skewed.

A line, fatter than it should be.

They look at that other web.

And so they stop.

What are they to do but sit and think?

Why can't I do that?

What point did I go wrong?

Suspended in the air with no way down because it is too late to turn back.  

And they give up.

Congratulation,
You finally found that one person
that was meant to be with you,
but in the process you had to push me away.
Now we have to deal with the fact, that
you are okay with abandoning family,
you created neglectful problems between you and I.
Yet you expect me to be okay with it all,
that is something that would never happen.
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry,
that I couldn’t be a part of your success,
but I am still looking for my person,
still looking for my success. Believe me when I say,
I will be fine without you in my life,
since you have abandoned me countless times.
Sad to believe that I am used to the abandonment.
I will say this now, I will miss you
and I do hope that your success gets better,
but I can’t be there when you get that success.
Knowing that I am okay with you walking away
makes me terrified,
you were supposed to protect me,
to keep me safe.
Instead all you did was make me feel like everything was
my fault -
so I apologize to you
for leaving you behind in my way of life.
I hope someday you can understand why I chose to leave.

The ones that put others first, no matter what they're going through themselves,

You may feel desperate at times,

You may have a lot of friends,

Life is hard, I get it
But you're a winner, trust me
You've got everything sorted in your head, even though you may not know about it,

Just be grateful for what you have,
Hold on to the ones who look out for you,
Take your time to absorb everything that's going on with you,
And, with your head held high, kick all the walls down that try to hold you hostage.

For you are, already in your mind, whatever you dream to be.
