Step by step one step at a time
One by one, one step at a time
Whether you are climbing up a flight of stairs
Even while climing down a flight of stairs
Always better to keep in mind and also follow the same
Always take one step at a time.

Decide first what needs to be done and then decide what needs to be done to get done what's decided first.
Definitely priorities come first
So always better to start with the topmost priority,
followed by the next and then so on and so forth.

Nature of things definitely matter, but what matters more is how to get the things done.
Keeping this in mind and with this as an aim,
it's always better to set priorities and follow the same.
Always better to take one step at a time, followed by the next and then move on further.

My mom is snoring,
thirteen stairs and ten feet away.
My mom is peaceful,
thirteen stairs and ten feet away.

My dad is watching,
seven stairs and fifteen feet away.
My dad is learning,
seven stairs and fifteen feet away.

I am sitting,
on the floor against a trunk.
I am crying,
on the floor agains a trunk.

Step by step,
one step at a time,
only one.

One by one moving ahead one step at a time
Only one step needs to taken at a time

Never did it matter, nor did it bother to the mind,
but since it's a habit always maintain and follow good habits.

Always remember, it's important,
keep in mind and stick to the same all the time.
Always take only one step at a time.

Whether climbing up or stepping down a flight of stairs
Always remember,
step by step, only one step to be taken at a time.
One by one, always take only one step at a time.

Experience and influence play an important role in everyone’s life
Constructive approach and right attitude makes all the difference between winning and losing
Approach and attitude are different from each other as is chalk from cheese
Yet both are important
They have there own role to play in everyone’s life
Both possess the ability, capacity and scope to make a difference in an individual's life
Hence while getting the future ascertained make the right use of each one of them so as to know their difference
Try to understand the need of hour and then act accordingly
Slow and steady wins the race, hence it always important to take only one step at a time.

Step by step, one step at a time
One by one, only one step needs to taken at a time.

Never did it matter, nor did it bother to the mind,
but since it's a habit always maintain and follow good habits.

Always remember, it's important,
keep in mind and stick to the same all the time.
Always take only one step at a time.

Oh, the many feet
that have trod these stairs.
White,
red, and
brown.
Walking, running, skipping,
down and up, up and down.
Runaway slaves hid ‘neath the ‘case
waiting for that friendly voice
to say the coast was clear, and
they could travel father north
or stay in the village near.
The soldiers with their rifles,
going off to fight.
Women left on the homefront,
comforting children through the night.
Happy times, sad times,
through oh so much.
These stairs have carried families
up and down, down and up.

I've been climbing up these stairs for so long now,
But I'm still standing from where I started this brawl,

Is this a joke or am I part of a haunted story,
Cause lately I've been deprived of all the light and glory,

I try so hard to take one more step ahead,
But I fall back even harder instead,

I can hear the voices telling me to let this go,
Except that I am not ready yet to **** my own show,

How do I beat this out with merely a house of cards?
I'm not even an expert at beclouding my battle scars.

The lights go out as another day
Draws to a close,
In the distance sirens of an ambulance
Ripples through the stillness
Of the night,
I ache,
I'm tired,
But I'm restless.
The staircase extends beyond my feet,
Up into a blank space
Where light cannot reach
And darkness can wait
For me to enter.
I can feel its eyes on me,
Fixated on my body
As I approach the first step.
I don't know why,
But the lingering presence
Is always there,
As if it waits with arms crossed
And draped against my bedroom door,
It sense my fear and I sense its intent:
To creep into my mind,
To feed off the chaos that stirs
Each and every day.

3:8:15 - Kosher pinot noir toasts the snowflakes that the eider brings, just as the Ash bows ache; naked and starving. Hurdling through old bedroom windows, giving those reasons why pennies are wished first into window wells. Smoggy gawkers, locked into an image shaped by organic lines and gestures. The two smoker- cure their hours reconnoitering in skyrise stairwells, discussing recipes for fixing wounded hearts without the peaceful frequencies she speaks into two styrofoam cups with strings pierced through their innards. Much like the story of how two people meet within the timespan of the living.

Even the Moon Men eat space cakes to loosen their chests, from the apathetic laws that began to govern their personalized truths. Not a mug with a name on it bought after an almost very cool free-art reenactment of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Love is not a sentence I can choose not to awaken.
It's the difference between having a one night stand rather
than keeping a toothbrush at each other's places.

Even on a Saturday night, we could fasten ourselves
to one another. Even if it's only you and I, who are you to
say it's not a party.

I’ve always been afraid of them:
Stairs.
They have a tendency
To give way beneath me
And pitch me forward
Towards the floor
In the back of my mind at least,
They do this.
It is rare that
this moment
actually occurs
but the occasional occurrence
keeps the fear in the back of my mind
and in my dreams
I’m fall

fallen.

I am girl who sits on the bottom step of the stair
At parties
Who no-one knows how I got there
The girl who passes up conversation
The girl who twists her hair around her thumb
Then puts it in her silent mouth

I am the girl who gets passed by
Plain hair and plain eyes
I am the girl who lives for tomorrow
Who sees the stars as they are

"The first step is always the hardest."  I've recited this over and over in my consciousness.
"Grip the rail, tight. "
Pursed with dried paint to smooth over the lumps of people gone before you.
" You're never the first one to go. "
Eyes forward and chin up I gather myself.
" It's only stairs, " I say over and over.
" It's only stairs," they say.
Now, faced with only upward motion.
Now, faced with only moving forward.
I look out the window to see the moon waning, waxing strong with my ascent.
4x32 are tiles on the floor.
6x15x18 is the case.
Hold my hand.
Guide me.
Guard me through this night.
By morning I will have reach this light.
"It's only stairs." We say.
Just walking up some stairs,  figured I'd try something new.  :)
