A state park
In Tucson
wasn’t sure how long I’d be gone
half crescent Moon
shines so bright
The Stars too intimidated to compete
reflecting on the reflection of the Sun
in Tucson
Guess where We were for this one?

Get me out these spiral spaces
I know where my rightful place is
Center of the void is where my base is

the slip stream in-between
Everyday a daydream
When you walk yourself home

Hello Spirit,

I can’t find you again. Feels impossible to be holding your hand all the time, co-dependency equals blasphemy.

Does it count if it’s with me?

If you are me then I need you but I am you so really I need me.

It was always right there in front of me. You.

Holding your hand,

A Dog pulls a Boy
or is it the other way
The Skies are grey
or is the Sun on a vacation day

Intentions are destinations
Heaven + Hell
mirrored staycations
declarations for all our creations

To hear is the shortest route through fear
Give it a name, become it
See your eyes shine from within it

Cosmic writers’ room

Spirits who are always in full bloom
can dress in shades of gloom

Unity feels like bioluminescence

The full Eclipse
Center of the Void
come BACK to center in a SNAP
A memory Clap-Back

or perhaps, a new future to devour
time traveling encounters
never in the future

We are too creative to be

The quest is best when expecting the

Seeded and protected with a kiss
there are no risks when
Love is the door
take the elevator to
Heart’s floor
see what We've been
called for

Spoiler Alert, it’s always Love

Days trapped in dreams
Winters trapped in drought
Let the fog be the guise that distinguishes the light
I need you now, light as a feather
Now and forever
For the sun is just weather

mother ocean is my church
and oneness is my belief
the sea is forgiveness
and she can crash you on the reef
she teaches me humility
and calms my restless soul
she dissipates my static
and makes me again whole
i return to land and people
consecrated by her water
ready to play again
strong without falter
when my day is done
and i’ve done all i can
return my borrowed molecules
to she who understands
having lived by the sea all my life this piece followed the realisation of her importance to me
Hanging at the cross

Prayers untold

Offerings to a master unknown

They call him the Messiah

Saviour of all

King of many

His stories had being foretold

Rolling down a passage for the heavenly

Written by Tosan Oluwakemi Thompson
This poem talks about the belief of some people in a supreme being.
Earthen Heart Nov 2020
My Mother:

I ground my feet into Her
Gaze up at Her mountain peaks, tree tops and blue skies
Taste Her springs, swim in Her seas
Feel Her Love embrace me in the air that I breathe
Caressing my body, filling my lungs.
Her light brings life
Her dark brings depths of emotion
She blinds me yet helps me see so clearly
She inspires,
Fulfills my heart’s desires
Which is simply to feel Her
Underneath and all around me.
