Moving from zone to zone
My sense of home now
Carries your scent.
I walk along
The dimmed sun rays and
Find a new feeling in the morning dew.
A feeling unfamiliar, uncomfortable
Yet similar to the only thing
I’ve ever wanted sits with me
In the living room.

My feet remember the feeling of gravel,
Of jagged stone caught, scratching skin.
They recall carrying me along,
Fluttering freely with the wind at my back.
I've learned that
Love is like the loose gravel
That gets caught in between your toes.
It is the wind that pushes you along.
Other times it is like a vine
Intertwining with another in cosmic symbiosis.
Sometimes it is like cheap linen that bleeds
Its color when it is washed negligently.
Sometimes love crackles like a cat in your lap.
Sometimes love is a sleepless night.
Love is like drinking enough water
Before you fall asleep drunk.
It is also waking up with a permanent marker
On your face, because you fell asleep drunk.

Sometimes love is like plunging your feet
Deep into the soil.

But most importantly, love is close enough
To being led home safely by moonlight.
love time life eyes dark moonlight close sleep free

I am studying.
I am dying from exams.
I should get some sleep.

Don's you just love exams?
I don't.
I hate it.

Sleep why arnt you my friend?
Why can’t we get along?
Nights without you make my days so long.
I’ve been seeing you less and less
When I should be seeing you more
Three hours a day is not enough
Give me at least four
I’m just so tired of not being tired anymore
I can’t sleep anymore....... PTSD? Starving soul? Idk I just want to sleep again.
Just laying there , knowing you’re awake but feeling asleep
You feel suction cupped to your bed by your blankets
Your pillow slowly accumulating moisture from sweating
Your dreams alive but reality won’t let you accept it
Both eyes closed but there’s only one possibly peeled
You might sleep with your third eye open too ..

when I awoke, my bed was empty,
and your warmth was not beside me.
I looked for you, you did not come.
my eyes searched for yours,
only to be left with a broken heart
when the door opened,
revealing an unfamiliar comfort.
o, let me receive you, come now.
fill this empty space in my bed,
plant a kiss upon my head.
take my hand, trace my skin.
outline my aching frame.
like a river, let thine love flow.
deny me not this truth.
love me, that’s all I ask of you.
riches we need not.
just the love in our hearts.
let this carry us through all of our days.

It’s another late night
with these thoughts in my head,
with a cup of coffee I probably shouldn’t had,
with these dreams I’m squeezing, trying to not let ‘em go.

I think you take my breath away.

People always say that as an endearing thing.

But I think you actually physically take my breath away.

I don't know how.

Maybe it was when you layed your head on my chest.

Or tangled your fingers with mine.

Or felt safe enough to drift off to sleep in my arms.

All I know is that I think you take my breath away.

I just wish I was surer of you.

Because I want that feeling for eternity.

But I don't think you are my eternity.
