The waves pass by
Watching the butterfly.

The light rises over the flat earth
Saying her vows.
Columbus would be proud.

The wind caring the ground's kiss,
Salty and bitter on the lips.

The saline taste of Adam's ale
Inspiring a fairytale.

Hell's floor
Scattered among the shores,
Hiding their corps.

Apollyon counting the score
From the spoils of war.

The forms in the clouds
Dancing for the crowds.
Plato would bow.

Humanity lost in it's beauty,
Waiting for the Angel's duty
To take them away from life's cruelty.

Waves be crashing on the rocks
Eagerly leveling it's play
Waves be born once again
Just like the other day

Don't struggle if it hits you
Or you'll drown
Be calm just like the sky
And it will treat you like it's own

Horizon is a myth, it's just to see
And never a place to be
Unlike the stars
But there you can never be

Ocean is one with one too many a name
It's just another storm, hence, so insane
Hold on tight it's going to be a rough one
And don't worry you'll get to see the sun

The Ocean is wise
it knows where to shore
Don't take it for granted
it can destroy you to the core

There's an ocean in you too
Which you don't know of
You'll figure it out soon
And won't be lost
many people look to the sky,
gaze upon the milky way,
and wish upon a star.

i tend to look to the sea,
dream of mermaids,
and wish upon a starfish.
guess that’s why i love rainbows,
they are where
the heavens and the waters reconcile.

Yesterday across the veil I stared at your bareness
I glanced as we flew, we steamed and rose
Arousing the inner core of the lighted glow
The cord furled throughout in, over and within
The chords echoed in deepening tuned vocals
I stretched my all to touch, to feel, to sense,to see
To press for the unreachable, caress the invisible
Your essence so tangible, irrefutably irresistible
A certainty beyond doubt, above the unknown
A seal of zeal as your pulse still beats in mine
A heart paraded to hold, seasoned for your palate
My sovereign keep raining in the depths of my shore
My essence , the unseen but ever felt!

This is where it ends
Is it an empire or deception?
I have sailed on slave ships of doldrums
into the black sun
Waves crashed the bow
and wrecked on the shore

This is where it begins
Is it condemnation or suicide?
Take a step on the crooked concrete sidewalks
Jagged edges of busted rocks
and blistered feet

ocean filled with liquid drops
tears keep kissing shore

the blood on this dental floss is muito rico!
i must write all about it;
that’ll show em.

{espero!}

but what will she think of it?
i think i'd like to be stuck to her,
like a plantain peel on a naked shore.
two giggling morons
under a chocolate moon.

{suspiro...}

yet i’m stuck in didactic verse.
in a winterland.
knitting sonnets about
oral hygiene
and shaky hands.

back in bed now,
the words start to come together:
“Scatter my ashes in Dublin, Ohio
  or the Bronx Zoo!"

I’m all over the place this morning.

You and I are land and sea
For you only stay where you are
And I run to you repeatedly
With reckless disregard.

Along the shores of your mind,
You were passing by, watching the stars.
In the sky, the storm made you blind,
And your emotions became your prison bars.

The waves of feeling are still flushing away hope,
And all you are seeing is blue.
The memories are gone, so you scope
For a nicer view.

Seeing a bright light, across border,
You run for it and the dark fades away.
The sun on your skin, feeling no disorder,
You try again to swim in the unknown bay.

The weather is calm again
And you finally foresee something.
And the water is so clear after this hurricane,
That you can feel and see what is coming.

On powd'ry grains of sand
at genial island's narrow end,
        morning gently breaks:

casting stones at crested waves;
cheeks still moist, in briny breeze.*
