I want to lose my way in a foreign land
Carrying a backpack with a map on my hand
Wander aimlessly into a random inn
Hear stories from villagers about the local scene
Beer, wine, cider or cinnamon mead
Pain, past and pressure suddenly freed
I want to look at the same sun rising
But with a brand new perspective of life worth living

Why do we remember things
Found from the finer places
that regulate moments in time
An inkling where we dream again
another day a month of years before

Some seek space as stillness binds

Through therapeutic methodologies
To think this is with love from art
in the beauty of our hearts
What qualities can a memory bring
A way to rise above that flow of life

deliciously ruined
poor little human
crying her eyes out in hurt

remnant from great things
image of great kings
kicked up by wind like the dirt

they say who you are is deep down within
but i’m right here, can’t you see
it’s disgusting
one can’t devise the nature of light
without all the ugly to shape and define
so please don’t blame me if my soul’s
a bit dusty

moonbeams are just dead skin glowing
who we are 's just dead skin going
on and on and on again
to a place where the night-lights never end

moonbeams are just dead skin gleaming
who we are 's just dead skin screaming
over and over and over again
why won't the night-lights ever end?

it's funny how the things that are odd
creepy and macabre
are the things we dare call the face of God

if we end up gone
for once just be wrong
seek beauty in horror you stumble upon
write them in poems
a lyric of song
and throw off the angels by singing along

moonbeams are just dead skin glowing
who we are 's just dead skin going
on and on and on again
to a place where the night-lights never end

moonbeams are just dead skin gleaming
who we are 's just dead skin screaming
over and over and over again
why won't the night-lights ever end?

it's funny how the things that are odd
creepy and macabre
are the things we dare call the face of God

and when all is said
everyone is dead
so why won’t they call me a moonbeam instead?

if i’m a moonbeam
and you’re a moonbeam
why can’t a moonbeam be the face of God?
Professor Moriarty:  Did you know that dust is largely composed of human skin?

Sherlock Holmes:  Yes…

Moriarty:  Doesn’t taste the same, though.  You want your skin fresh–just a little crispy.

Sherlock:  Won’t you sit down-

Moriarty:  That’s all people really are, you know?  Dust waiting to be distributed.  And it gets everywhere, doesn’t it?  Every breath you take  Dancing in every sunbeam. All used-up people

Moonbeams are

Just dead skin

Glowing

Who we are 's

Just dead skin

Going

On and on and on again

To a place where the nightlights never end

And after all is said and dead

We're gone

It's funny how things that are odd

Remnant creepy and macabre

Are the things we dare call the face of God

Moonbeams are

Just dead skin

Gleaming

Who we are 's

Just dead skin

Screaming

Over and over and over again

Why won't the nightlights ever end?

And after all is said and dead

We're gone

It's funny how things that are odd

Deliciously ruined and macabre

Are the things we dare call the face of God

the breaking
of
one wave
could never
explain
the entire
ocean
but it did
the shores it swashed

People often ask,

       "why am I an atheist,

Did you not read the book..

                     And I answer,

you have just given the
                                 resolution
for which you seek the answer to.

Rearranged my cupboard
Nothing mucky was found,
But,
To get control of the situation
Sometimes,
To get through
I do that too!

Arrows lacerates,
Like those unspoken words,
That we were supposed to express
Once!
That were meant to be heard,
Once!
Eventually they got off track,
And with each passing epoch
Resentment stays.

Feeling crouched,
Tried walking on the green grass
Barefoot.
But for how long
Will I be able to crawl,
I thought
Reminiscing,
And just drawl.

I might not know the reason,
Maybe I'll find it someday,
Till then,
Let me search for truth,
Veracity
In every single way.

Isnt America supposed to be united
Yet instead over Iran we become divided
And that ain’t just it
Nearly every issue
we are split
Romans 12:5 says we are one
But you offend me so then we’re done
Jesus  called us to unite and serve him
To love our neighbors and not destroy them
But I’m not talking about our foreign affairs
I don’t have your political view
So you sit and glare
You preach about loving each other’s differences
But when my uniqueness offends you
Our friendship diminishes
Romans 12:5 says WE are one
But the we You see is the we you don’t want it to be because she’s telling the truth so she can set you free
Set you free from the ways that hinder you
You want to true love but when it finally comes you can’t see through
Through the veil that world has woven
You preach false love and we need to take it back to Romans
You know how to love from afar
But when it gets real and our opinions are different you say it isn’t love at all
Real love stays if you think abortion should be legal
Real love stays even if I’m conservative and you’re liberal
I was never trying to enforce my views
But if I can’t talk why can you
And I get it, often times people tell you to shut your mouth
But one isn’t all you said that yourself
But what do I know
I’m just white trash shoving the Bible in your face when I don’t know your place
But you don’t know mine either or where I’ve been
Yeah a lot of Christians are fake
But my love is  genuine
