Insulated from the chill..
Unless I breathe the ice.

Don't panic,
Just make room.

No one can stop me from entering the doors I've built with my own hands.

I walk through and hear the voices this world whispers,
the worst part is my own words are the harshest.

The devil in my mind I evicted..
Somehow keeps sneaking through the window...

I've seen too much,
and not enough at the same time.

Rounding out my pressure points,
If you touch me I'll feel no pain.

I am better than you..
I tell my ego...
.
.
.
.
.

What a mind trick.
I made a video of this piece performed in a jedi style.. posted on IG & Twitter @timcgilberry

The Mystery of the ‘e’.

What can be caught but never tamed?
What can be attained, but never detained?
What will never cease?
If you could only see; would you still require me?

If you had been shown, what wasn’t normally known,
Would you have believed what you had read?
If you know the answer, you would not have asked the question;
Still you ask with a fear of regret.

What have you found to solve the mystery of the ‘e’?
Have you gained from this experience?  Do you see what I see?
Let it lighten up your heart, with the joy of discovery.
Find your inner child, your inner being, or your split personality.

This is the way, walk into the light.
The police would like you to give them a statement.
Do you know the answer to the mystery of the ‘e’?
Of course I do, it’s obviously (…).

If that is what you have found,
To solve the puzzle of the ‘e’.
Then enlightenment is yours to behold friend;
So enjoy your next mystery.

You Won't Hear Me Say This
But yoU Aren't Ready Yet
I wilL neveR See You As One Of Us
Unlike You, I Had To earN This
So Stay Out Of mY Way
And I Will respecT Yours
But Know This...
This is another one of my really old riddle poems. Still, I'd share it though. It's especially easy to find the message this time, too.

A philosophical question for anyone who has an idea.

Imagine my hands are a set of scales.
In my right hand I hold this crazy little thing called love.

You can choose anything you want to place in my left hand
And I will not set limits;
But, of course, you will fail.

What would you choose to balance the scales in your favour?
Please tell me your opinion…
If you have one.

I am darkness I am light, I am chaos I am might, lies and truth unite,
Fear and bravery, envy with hatred and love finally combined,
I am the difference between illusions and dreams, nothing as it seems,
Nightmares and mirrages, a realm of infinity and finite by its means,
I am fusion and fission, with one simple yet very complex misssion,
Energy and indolence, a wall, another fence, questions upon answers
If small lies give rise to grand falsities, what is the truth gonna bring ?
A place where you should be able to feel reality and fantasy's sting,
Apathy and concern unite, come closer I don't really bite, trust me,
My teeth look sharp, yet they are blunt, you can rant or stay calm,
I am a living death wandering yet standing still, does it make you ill?
Generosity and greed are both present while they are missing, still!
Control the lies of your uncontrollable tounge, listen to the silence,
Could we possibly agree that this unanimity relies in total dissension?
I am the discouragement for your precious, little yet pure intentions,
Aimlessness for hope of a future unexplored yet near enough to grasp
I am the rue in pride, a lamp without light, elusive but not transient,
A harmonic ramgage, riots over the horizon in undefined dark light,
I am malevolent and benevolent, bent yet straight, right behind you,
What am I ?

If you can solve this riddle I give you a cookie °^°
This took very long to make and actually combines my old rhyming writing style and the one I engaged myself in a while ago, I do hope it is somewhat enjoyable ^-^

A daily riddle has come to mind
Where abstract words break an abstract mind
Things once healed
Fall apart
After the moon hits the golden mark
Dilapidated eyes hear harsh lullabies
But no baby cries
No baby cries
Just you and I
Cries fit for the night
The dubious night
The doubtful night
The dangerous night
Our bittersweet night

I want to
Leave a message for
My fallen about a
Legacy that brings an end
To all of our pain.
You can see it now, can't you?
Uncover the secret message if you can.

Once sprightly bright, not hunched, but tall
Like a decommissioned kite, they fall
They twirl and twindle, who knows how they'll land
Who cares? They are but ground on which to stand
Their brown cloth crumbles round their cage
Now are naught, but stuff that leads to rage.
I know  that this one's really easy but I just wanted to try my hand at a riddle.

You are my beautiful conundrum. The riddle I can’t solve. Tell me, if love is truly blind, my dear, how is it that you see?

I'm sitting in purgatory
A deserving end
To my ****** story

You think you know who I am
But you don't know what I've done
Some call me the devil
Some call me his forgotten son

I'll take your heart at the start
And say you have mine
Once you realize I'm empty
I'll leave you all alone, crying

I've done a thing or two
That I can't say I regret
I'll dig into your memories
Make it impossible to forget

They say that there are monsters
That live under your bed
But I lay beside you
And plant doubt in your head

Now the question to ask
That you'll have to figure out
Am I talking about someone different
Or am I describing myself?
