The door slammed.

The heavy air about
Serves to remind me
Of how I have been hurt
By those there to heal
Of how I have bleed
From cuts that will scar
Of how I was crushed
And will never be the same

You know it is there,
Yet you push it away
To make a better image
Of what truly took place
When the door slammed
To shake the house.
All that you care of
Is how the others see
And what thoughts will form
When they see our faces

But oh! How I wish
That one day courage
Will overtake the heart
That beats in my mind.
When victory will be given
To those who were ignored.
The ones who felt the house shake
Yes, those in the shadows
Who need it the most

Until then I wait
Enduring pain after pain
For I have no power
To end my suffering.
Though I wish it was over,
My selfish end will never come.
Maybe someone needs me;
I wait and see the day,
But until then I remember how

The door slammed.

Did you ever hear the one about the guy?
You know, he did a few things, lived his life.
Real upstanding, I guess not outstanding, but you know, decent.
Of course you remember him.
If he was good, then wasn’t he good enough for your memories?
No?
Ok then, I’ll ask again later...
What was I talking about?

I want you
To live with
The burden
Of remembering me

Remember my smile
And the way
It would curl
When you would
Kiss my cheek

Remember my hug
How warm
Every single embrace was
On those cold
Winter mornings

Remember my kiss
Each soft lip
Pressing against
Your own
Against your heart

Remember my laugh
How sweet
It sounded
Soft and loud
Throughout the day
And night

Remember my heart
No matter
How far away it is
Because it'll always
Remember you

Do not fear,
Do not forget,
The Lord is here,
And has forgiven your debt.
He was and is, and is to come,
Do not fret, for He won't succum.
Through the night and through the storm,
Do not fright, He borms you with oil.
The day is clear, the night is warm,
The Lord is here, and gives you ear.
He was always there, in the night and in the storm,
Right with you: because of love.
Jesus my Lord,
You're all I need,
Be with me please.

Gravity
Is weighing
So much heavier
Than I remember it
But I still
Only blame
Myself

Do you remember?
When we still a child,
We are raised with lies,
We believe in everything they say,

Do you still remember?
We scared in creatures that we do not see.
We believes in ghost, sorcerer and myths.
We liked to observed everything.

The exhale of relief
for some that's at the end of the day
when curled up in bed, and the day is ending
if you're lucky you have one moment of piece
and you exhale out all the stress
all the ******* and feel calm
I have yet to have that relief
I'm constantly a mess
Each breath I try to feel that peace
Instead I breath out anxiety
And am still worried for the next day
If you are lucky to have that exhale
Remember it, Its what will keep you going
Then next time you get lost.

My life has drowned out
All I see are blurs
As time stood
My mind proceeds with flashes
Remember...remember
I feel wet eye lashes.
