Penguin Poems Nov 2018
it was mine
all mine
poetry was mine
my "thing"
yet you took it
i'm not special anymore

you were mine
all mine
no one else's but mine
my "person"
yet you left me
i'm not special anymore

blue was mine
all mine
only my color
my "shade"
yet you took it
i'm not special anymore

music was mine
all mine
only my chords and words
my "passion"
yet you took it
i'm not special anymore

i set the world on fire
and i called it my own.
I was very possessive towards her,
i wanted her to spend her every second with me.
maybe that's the only reason
she left me?

This heart should be, already,
Or one side love-proof
'*** I've learned it that way

That back you thrown at me
Walked off to the departing gate
Should have known it would be the end of this
It supposed to be die right there

But the feeling seemed lurking
They ghosted on the small side of my chest
Waited patiently there
'Till the shine of your light blasted through the flesh

I wonder what to call this feel
Should it be love or passion
Or an amusement, instead of possesion
To recall your embrace 'till my tears are all reckless

Supposed to hate you
Supposed to summoned you away
But these beats after beats,
They told me I'm dying without you

Boy, I'm dying without you
Do not ruffle my hair anymore
Do not smile at my joke anymore
Just do not, do not you dare at all

This time, do not you dare to love me anymore.

I bet your tears,
Those little tears I say I don’t want you to shed,
I bet they taste like honey and sunshine and validation,
When they’re for me and nobody else.

Love and caretaker: For her, it is me
Love and responsibility: For me, it is she
Love and togetherness: For her, it is me
Love and argument: For me, it is she
Love and youth: For her, it is me
Love and fun: For me, it is she
Love and life: We two, for each other

Me, my life's worship
(the word used for worship was Pooja in Kannada)

Kannada text:

I think, I say, I loved you before -
yes. Picture it: these different
bodies, tangled under different
sheets, you & these quiet moments

I think it started even before
that - right from the moment
you took breath & sobbed.
Don't you see, baby, you were born

Picture us in the light:
glory haloed, something other
than blood or water, violent
mouths & all teeth, gnawing
right to the bone.

Let me. I'm going to make this as
terrible as I know how.

I mould & ruin you with
these hands, I call you baby,
darling, mine, mine, mine;
I make you a god and nothing

Show me again, my god - there is no
prayer for the way you shudder. Hold on,
wait for me,

I'm going to make you see stars, baby doll,
you're not going to wanna miss
Yeah idk either man this kind of creeps me out & i'm the one who wrote it.

Yes I am clingy,
But you will never find someone
There for you like I will be.

Yes I am needy,
But when you need reassurance
I’ll be full of soothing words.

Yes I am jealous,
But you will never find someone
More loyal than me.

Yes I am possessive,
But you will never find someone
That values you like I do.

Yes I have flaws, I am human. Please don’t fault me for loving the way I do.

Inside my head
Millions of threads
Collide in a mess

Inside my heart
In various parts
Stuck, are broken pieces of your art
Such possessivness you have
To no one you abide nor you serve
On my left wrist and palm
Are scars by your harm
On my right wrist and palm
You wrote with calm
Your name with a knife point
So much pain at my wrist joint
That you held so tight
My teary eyes closing in bright
You enjoying with delight
The blood on my wrist slowly flows
While carving slicing like claws
You seem fine not knowing I am dying
Left me for a while to rest
Your tattoo came out the best
In few hours you came back
To see the blood on my wrist and neck
You cried out calling my name
You didn't realise, what a shame!
You cut my wrist like I was a pest
In a dark corner, you left my body to rest...

Fictional write.

I need more.
You say I'm insatiable,
But I just can't help my hunger.
Give it all to me.
I want the whole world.
But my world is only you.
