Please remember, you are beauty.
Moulded by the hands of the ones you love.
Carved by the tools of those you despise.
Sculpted by the ancients who inspire you.
Glazed with joy and laughter.
Fired by the flames of passion.
And displayed for all to admire.
Please remember, my dear, you are art of the purest form.

I speak of you
To the aerial views of city lights
Talking about your extravagance
To the lions mane
Hidden in a mountain range
Stories from when I was a child
I try to keep you on my tongue
But forgive me when I become entranced
Lost in the aurora lights
Holding promises in my hands

So I spoke to them,
The seven wonders and the seven seas
About your colours and memories
Some I still hold onto till this day
But forgive me if I forget our old ways
Just know, my heart still beats to the same rhythm
The one it danced to when I was yours
And I speak of you between every laugh
Because I remember what we used to be.

Suddenly I’m standing in front of the world
Speaking of you
As if I was once again
A child
Running
Down your streets.

I laugh once
And everyone thinks I'm happy
I have a good day
And everyone thinks I'm okay
I don't cry for one night
And everyone thinks I'm alright

There is a big difference
Between being happy
And being discracted form your sadness

I’ve been trying to string words together
in hopes a poem will be the result,
but all I have is a page of scribbles
as it laughs like an intellectual insult.

I look back on them at times
And grimace at almost all of the rhymes
How dark and sinister, how lonely
Depression makes them feel boney
Jutting out like broken ribs
Each one their own screaming little kid
More funny poems please.

I need ones that say "I'm alive!"
I thrive, I survived and now baby I jive!
Moustache ready, bowler hat steady
Dancing in the fire with only my oven mitt
Baby I'm here and I'm ready to do it.
Climb that wall with all your jiggly bits.

Put away all that dark matter mystique,
Replace with crowd flashers and photocopied cheeks.

I just want my brain to bleed comical
***** historical anecdotal gold
Wax lyrical till my eyeballs bulge.
Just more funny poems please.

I've worked with him for a few years now.

I said something the other day that made him laugh.
I can't even remember what I’d said
but he laughed so hard
his false teeth jumped out.

I laughed so much
I had tears running down my face.

I didn't even know he had false teeth.

Like a stumbling toddler,
I skate across the ice.
Smiling, flailing, windmills:
I’m frozen still in time.

Hardly moving, I think
I’m speeding by at last.
Now to show off my skills,
I fall (‿|‿)-first and laugh.

Forty tears were pooled in his eyes.

A reality of hardship sunk in
Capsizing a boat of fears.

his parents had left him a penniless bloke
his time would be spent trying to stay afloat

The daily news would house all the jahbs
the other families &  friends were pointing him away from trouble

He would meet a new boss.
A stomach never tiring of crisscrosses

When he sat -down inspection began
Was he trusted to be a stan
Finally accepted he began forging minerals

The door closed at the home.
The company issued tools.
Heavy iron forged together with mighty wood.

Clear yellow lights illuminated the mine’s dark

A new spot would be all to him.
He began picking and digging
The earth's rocks, and dirt.

Learning other names was to be his strong suit.
But ability and strength left him with cahoots.

Soon heart's pumped laughs
Sending echo’s down the earth mine's shaft

Curing the ailed eyes
Of a boy with no ties

I run,
In every direction at once
I think,
Unholy thoughts without regret
I feel,
The shame of the world as my own
I stand,
Unfazed by it all
I know,
Nothing is written in stone
