The way you breathe,
Play with your hair,
The face you make when
You're deep in thought,
Those pretty eyes,
Your puffy lips,
That awkwardness
Mixed with your
Easy-going nature,
That deep voice,
Your soft laugh,
Those rough hands,
Every tiny freckle,
Your big dreams
And humble outlook,
Your nerdy side
Torn between
Your free spirit,
You are the better half.

Half of my heart.
Will forgive all the pain you've caused.

Half of my heart.
Can fight back when I thought i've lost.

Half of my heart.
Feels everything and still breathing.

Half of my heart.
Is your love and our lives between spaces.

Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere

I stare up at the clouds and wonder what you would see
if you were still looking up with me
I imagine you're looking down now, down at earth, at me
I wonder what your laugh would sound like, grown up
My heart is trying so hard not to break every time I think
of your sweet smile and the rest of my body shakes
The tears don't come any more, not that I was ever one to cry

When night falls
and I see the stars, I look at my wrist and recall how
I had to compose my self enough to tell the artist how
            to spell your name
When night falls
the moon is still enough to light up my arm so that
I can trace the script with my fingertips
When night falls
I can't do anything but quietly whisper *"I'm sorry."

I haven't heard that song in forever.
He is everything to me
and he could not see
I have given my all
Yet he still wants more
Nothing's left of me
Feels like a sad record

slowly spinning

       to death

should he love you,
he will not leave.
like the spring breeze,
intertwining with leaves in trees,
your hearts are wound.

should she love you,
she will not leave.
as sure as the waves crash to shore,
as the moonlight reflects the water's ocher,
she will be there for sure.

lovers together are stronger
than the gust that separates
        the leaves from trees,
than the waves that crashes
        on the sands of time,
even though promises lie broken
their hearts still awaken
when their other halves are near

We were lost
When we met each other,
We said we finally found
The half of our whole,
But love shouldn't be like that,
We parted ways
To find ourselves,
We were once again lost,
Time passed and the signs
Soon came off,
We found who we are
And before we knew it
Love found us together again.

They say that we're all just halves
Of what we are supposed to be...
But tonight, I am whole.

You're a different place.
It's understanding.
It's home.
It's pure bliss.

There's music in your mouth and stars in your bones
Sea air in your laughter and sunshine in your hair
Your words are honey and freckles the kisses I wish to always give
You're celestial and transcendent - you mystify me

Your jealousy has bite but mine has venom

People say we're always searching for our other half
Well, love(r), if you're mine,
Know that you are all the good in the world

- And I am all the bad.
