1.
Forget the things that broke
you. The thousand times oceans
fragmented your sentiment
rock. Become grains of sand
and shards of turquoise glass
so no one can grab hold of your
entire landscape again.

2.
Remember all the good
you learned to ignore in
elementary school. Study.
Read. Decide. Become a
classroom desk. Seated.
Sentient. Cold.

3.
Remove your loud mouthed
vagabond expectations like
a malignant cancer. Being
a romantic drains the
muscles pulling your smile
and the possibility of Great
will only leave you trembling
in a pseudo-fabric hospital
gown that leaves your ***
hanging out.

4.
Do things you do not want
to do. Like selling your paint
supplies to pay for student loans.
Waking up early for a morning
jog. Planning your life out perfectly
and successfully. Pulling an all-
nighter to finish a research paper
on breastfeeding. Doing someone
else’s dishes. Becoming
someone else.

The innocence that we leave behind is stolen by evil and devilish hands
Evil and devilsh hands that strewn through the velvet ash of the lost, fallen and helpless
The lost, fallen and helpless souls left without a spirit to guide them
The spirit that haunts our own existence, taken back by the innocence of being
Spirit guided souls but lost

Continue on the ride
She was my in
My way to tag along
She didn't know what I did

Continue on
And bring me closer to my time
To ours
Don't always write of love young poet
Don’t always write of peace
Don’t always write of death young poet
Or miseries of melodies.
Write of what you hear young poet
Write of what you see
Good or bad or evil or empty
Share your thoughts with eternity
Half are educated, but not the poet
The poet spent too much time in his passion
And yet, he is wiser than an owl
Why is that?
Is it his philosophy that drives him to ask why? and how?
No, it is his will to accept whatever lies ahead
And paint that on a page with his words, and his soul
And help you to be a poet

We all search,
And seek.
That guiding hand.

A hand that holds you,
In your darkest times.
One that will calm you,
In your despair of anger.

We all seek,
That sense of peace.
When we don't understand,
The reality.

We long for those hands,
To guide.
Those who have strayed.

To bring them forth,
Risen from the darkest corners.
Faces pale as ghost,
To be guided to a holy world.

You don't need religion,
To guide those who have strayed.
You need compassion,
To be a guiding hand today.

Guide those who have ran,
Those who are hiding.
Those who are in fear.

Bring them forth,
Rise them up.

Use your guiding hands,
To heal those.
Who have strayed.
I wanted everyone to know that there is someone out there for you. To guide you in your darkest times, to allow you to pour your heart out to be healed. It may seem grim now, but the light will brighten your heart that beats. It will save those around you, to keep them safe and alive.

To Sean,
Who has been through so much I can't even say. He guides me as I guide him everyday. I love him with all my heart and soul.

To Jessie,
Whose been through hell and back with me and will always be like a sister to me. I love you sis, thank you for guiding me.

To my Mom,
Who has guided me to a dead end.
But tried her hardest.

To my Dad,
Whose strong hands keep the family together. Who works harder than anyone I know. Who has compassion for his family and others.

To my Step mother,
We have been through alot.
I still love her like a mother and I thank her. We may not always get along but I still love her.

To all those who have given me hope,
Thank You.

I can't guide an aimless arrow that has a brain of its own and doesn't want to hit the target...
Not a poem

I am here
Waiting in the dark
Oh the sky
Don't let me cry.
I suffocate over the dreams
I have nourished in my eyes.
Let me go off
To follow my instincts
Call me the name
To be my guide to save me from
This condemnation.
The way leads to me
To the inception of the end
With no option left behind
And I'll be left here
Broken into pieces.

Were you a friend when someone called
She was so helpless, felt so cold?
Were you beside her when she's afraid
Never insulted her, never betrayed?

Were you a friend when someone asked
She was so afraid to see the past
Did you tell her to be calm and have peace
For your  love, my dear, will never cease?

Were you a friend when someone cried
Was a thoughtful and caring guide?
When I was blind and cannot see
Did you come there to be with me?

When I needed your help to set me free
Were you there as a true friend to me?

There were lights
To guide the way
Stars that shine
Shone in the day

Closed my eyes
To think of them
Inner light
Shone like a gem

If only light
Could always stay
I would wait
A million days.
