time
moves
so fast;
but
with
your

mine,
we'll
make it

Irony; moving
Sun Belt woman to Zone 6b
decrying each freeze
This is the fourth poem I wrote this morning, 24 June 2015.

Little girl with your tiny hands know that whatever you build for yourself will one day be destroyed so tread carefully on this glass universe.

This meticulous life, a house of cards that you're going to spend a childhood building and playing house in, so easily toppled by a breeze.  Know that one day life is going to be a hurricane. And the little world that's you poured your soul into is going to be gone.

That empty hole in your chest is going to burn like hell. That ***** that pumps the blood and keeps your cheeks rosy is going to catch aflame. And that raging fire is going to ignite the blood flowing through your fingertips. Your going to fall in love and that boy is going to pour gasoline all over your little mess of a life. And that's when you'll realize that a fiery heart does nothing but burn you to to the ground.

You'll be six feet deep in ashes and regrets. Lies shoved so deep down your throat that you won't be able to scream for your release from the chains that bind you to this ground that you used to call home.

Little girl  take those broken heart shards and all build yourself a wall. Lock your gates baby because the loneliness that will freeze your blood. May just help soothe the burns.

Just let me read

I don't want to be here anymore
Just let me read so I can leave this world for a little while
Just a little break from the drama and the torture

That's all I ask
To be in a world with dragons and zombious plagues because its better than here
To have the ability to freeze time and have powers so I can finally be the one in control
To see God and Jesus because they promised to make my life easier
To be immortal and shapeshift because death does not exist

I need to be able to pause
To just place a bookmark in my life so I can continue the one that lives on the pages

I need the magic
I need the fairies and mermaids
I need the talking animals
I need to fly
I need the stories
I need the possibilities

I know, I know
Their just fiction
But sometimes I just need a happily ever after
Because I know ill never have one

Please just leave me with my books so I can just pretend for a little while

June 1 was the day that marked the end to you and I.
But now that it is June 2,
I realised that i will be all alone this winter,
And when the cold front approches on June 3,
i will try and wrap myself with my webby blanket,
sip on to the last coffee that i have,
and hope for a better tomorrow.
While still searching for my heart to keep me warm,
even though the sun's rays still penetrate onto my skills,
i know that i will still freeze to death.

I did my best to
form a snowflake

Go and find yourself in the sky
Where blue covers your eyes
And shadows never show
You follow your heart to a better place
And you just forgot to take your tears with you
You left them by coincidence in your past
Because once someone told you:
Never to be afraid and keep going on
Although it is hard
Sad people will be around you
And make you sad
Although you do not have to be sad
Surround yourself with warm air
And your heart will never freeze again

I have always liked the cold air
because it matched the feel of my skin
and the taste in my mouth

Today I found myself searching for warmth
and I ached for the heat
that used to shoot through your fingertips
onto my spine
in the middle of the night
when you were worried my heart
might actually
turn to ice

The smallest flakes of hope
That shine like little stars
Are floating from the heavens.
As they land on my pale skin
They begin to melt away
Back into their liquid form.
I am so cold, but so are they.
How can they melt on me?
It's odd how such fragile crystals
Can create such a deadly storm.
Poet-Whisperer Jan 2015
I, queen of frost
Shall freeze your thwarted heart
As the blood in your veins comes to a low
I, queen of blood
shall have you bleed through night and day
As the warmth within you soon stops and stays

Together
We give birth
To one of frost and blood
One who shall live forever
for she the immortal queen
One who controls the mortals
One who tames natures beasts

Her existence recorded as one of life and death
For she is the queen that shall freeze and leach
For she the queen born of haem and glacé
For she the queen of frost and blood
